Fan Wenlan's A Brief History of China, Jian Bozan's Outline of China's History and Jin Weinuo's Discussion on the History of China's Art are all narrated. Its "Stone Monument of Shicheng Temple Built by King Liang Jian 'an" has been handed down from generation to generation, which is the earliest written record of Xinchang Buddha and a precious document of religion, sculpture and literature in the Southern Dynasties in China's grottoes.
