According to the Jinling Evening News, a few days ago, Mr. Guang Qing, an 84-year-old retired engineer of Nanjing Cable Power Plant, took a copy of his "Qiong's Family Tree" which he had kept for many years to find a reporter. He opened the genealogy and told reporters that Emperor Wen Jian did not die of self-immolation, but escaped from Nanjing and changed his name to Qiongluan, and settled in Hunan and Hubei. For generations, Mr. Guangqing was allowed to be the fifteenth grandson of Emperor Wen of the Ming Dynasty.
Wen Jian escaped from Nanking and changed his surname to "Jean".
Pointing to the genealogy, Mr. Jean Guangqing told reporters about the historical origin of "Jean" created by Wen Jian Emperor Zhu Yunwen. Jean Guangqing said that Zhu Yunwen, the ancestor of Jean's family, was the second emperor of Ming Dynasty, and his father Zhu Biao was the eldest son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of Ming Dynasty. He was made a prince in his early years and unfortunately died young in middle age. According to the feudal etiquette tradition, Zhu Yuanzhang named Zhu Yunwen the great-grandson of the emperor. 1399, Zhu Yuanzhang died, and Zhu Yunwen, the great-grandson of the emperor, ascended the throne, known as "His Emperor" in history. However, just four years after his reign, his fourth uncle Judy launched the "Jing Nan Rebellion" and overthrew Zhu Yunwen by force.
After being expelled by Judy, Zhu Yunwen did not burn himself to death in the palace, as many historians have said. Instead, he went out of the palace from the tunnel, left Nanjing, lived in seclusion, changed his name to "RangLuan", pretended to be a monk, and traveled to Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei and other provinces. During his visit to famous mountains and rivers, Jean Luan also wrote many poems and symbols, suggesting to the world that he was Wen Jian. In his later years, Jean Luan lived in seclusion in Wuchang and was buried in Hongshan, Wuchang. All these things are clearly recorded in Jean's genealogy.
As for why Emperor Wen Jian changed his surname to "Jean" and changed his name to "Luan" after he left the palace to live in seclusion, let Guangqing explain that it was Emperor Wen Jian who thought he had abdicated, so he changed his name to "Jean Luan" and gave up the throne.
Wen Jian cemetery is shaded by mountains and forests.
In order to convince reporters that they are indeed descendants of Emperor Wen Jian, Jean Guangqing also gave some examples. Jean Guangqing said that he was born in Wuchang and his ancestor Zhu Yunwen was buried next to the Baotong Temple Pagoda in Hongshan. Let Guangqing remember that when he was a child, all the monks in Baotong Temple knew the specific location of Emperor Wen Jian's cemetery, and the monks also instructed Guangqing's ancestors to worship. However, after so many years of turmoil, this secret imperial tomb has been lost.
1945, Jean Lianxiu, a descendant of Jean's family, compiled the Genealogy of Jean's family according to the description of the family collection "Oral Biography of Ancestors in Past Dynasties" and "Book Burning Table in Yuan Dynasty" (with the taboo of ancestors' names), which was recognized by famous scholars and Chang Peter. He wrote a title for Genealogy, and Chang Peter wrote A Record of Zhang's Genealogy, which must be written for his descendants. Professor Chen Wannai, uncle of Jean Guangqing and Taiwan Province Province, once wrote Textual Research on Ming Huidi's Death, which was published by Taipei Baicheng Bookstore as 1950. The book holds that Jean is a descendant of Wen Jian, but it is a pity that this point has not attracted the full attention of the scholars of Ming history.
According to the reporter's understanding, the deciphering of the mysterious stone carving "Hongya Tianshu" near Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou also provided evidence for confirming that Wen Jian did not die of self-immolation. Guo Linn, an engineer in Shanghai, verified that the "Red Cliff Sutra" was actually an imperial edict issued by the emperor against the Prince Yan after he abdicated, indicating that after the emperor fled Nanjing, he lived in southwest China and was likely to reproduce.
The secret of 7600 years ago
For this history of his family, let Mr. Guangqing listen to his father since he was a child, but keep it as a secret in his heart. Jean Guangqing said: "After our ancestors were taken away from the throne, Judy still used many methods to find it and tried to eradicate its roots. In the Ming Dynasty, ancestors naturally dared not reveal their identity. In the Qing dynasty, it is even more impossible to say that he is a descendant of the Ming dynasty royal family. In the past 600 years, the Jean family had to conceal the identity of their ancestors, and the family history could only be passed down by word of mouth. This "Qiong's Genealogy" was not publicly compiled until the 1940 s. "
By this year, 602 years have passed since the "Jingnan Change". Let Guangqing say that it is time for the descendants of Jianwen Emperor to stand up and solve this eternal mystery. Jean Guangqing said that there are two jeans in China, one in Hubei and Hunan, and the other in Juye. It is not known whether Shandong jeans are descendants of Wen Jian. Although the number of people allowed is small, most of them are senior intellectuals, and many of them have settled overseas.
Experts from China Academy of Social Sciences testified for Jane's genealogy.
Shang Chuan, a doctoral supervisor at the Institute of History of China Academy of Social Sciences, presented a paper entitled "Jane's Genealogy —— A Study of Wen Jian's Death" at the 10th Symposium on Ming History held in these two days.
In the article, researcher Shangchuan introduced Jean's genealogy, which is an important material to help solve the mystery of Emperor Wen Jian's whereabouts. Researcher Shangchuan fully affirmed the value of Jean's genealogy. He told reporters: "Jean's genealogy is almost unknown in the academic circles of Ming history, so my paper will definitely cause quite a stir after it is published!"
However, Shangchuan also pointed out that in order to thoroughly understand the whereabouts of Emperor Wen Jian, further research is needed. Although "Jean's genealogy" clearly shows that he is a descendant of Wen Jian, no physical evidence was found to prove this. Jane's genealogy says: "Gong (referring to the emperor) had good calligraphy before his death, and Fan Zhongyan, the alternate official of Wuchang, had a pair of ancestral couplets, which belonged to him. After his death, he was buried in the sun of Hongshan, Wuchang. His birth is unknown, but he knows that he enjoys a life of one hundred years. " It can be seen that the ancestor of the Jean family, Emperor Wen Jian, has a pair of couplets handed down from ancient times and a cemetery in Wuchang. If we can find this couplet or tomb, it will help to completely solve this mystery.
