Chu Suiliang's best regular script copybook

Chu Suiliang's Classic of Big Characters

Chu Suiliang was a great calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. He had a profound understanding of calligraphy in Wei and Jin Dynasties, initiated the retro style in Tang Dynasty, and laid the foundation for the vigorous calligraphy style in the later Tang Dynasty, with both the calligraphy characteristics of the early Tang Dynasty and the prosperous Tang Dynasty.

Chu Suiliang first studied history tour and Ou Yangxun, then moved to Shinan, and finally took Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi from France, and merged with Wei Bei in Han Li to form his own family. The most unique thing is that Chu Suiliang's calligraphy poems are with Yu Shinan, but there are no traces of Ou and Yu in his calligraphy works, which is like being reborn. Some critics even think that his regular script surpassed Ou and Yu, and he is called "the genius of calligraphy" in Tang Dynasty.
