Zhang Guangxing was born in Huantai County, Zibo City, Shandong Province in 1950. He holds a master's degree in economics from Nankai University. He is currently a professor and graduate tutor at Qingdao University of Technology; he is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a director of the Chinese Educators Association, a member of the Chinese Aesthetics Society, a member of the Chinese Couplet Society, an art consultant of the Shandong University Calligraphers Association, and a chairman of the Qi Culture Professional Committee of the Shandong History Society; He is a distinguished researcher at the Cultural System Reform and Development Research Center of the Central Academy of Cultural Management, one of the first batch of philosophy and social sciences expert database members selected by Shandong Province, and one of the first batch of literature and art expert database members.
