Teacher Xiuping insisted on picking us up in person. The journey from the north to the south of the city was more than an hour, and the traffic jam in the city lasted more than half an hour. This made the three of us particularly touched, and the strangeness of our first visit to Taiyuan disappeared.

When we saw his works, we were very surprised. The independent style of each word and the exquisite traditional brushwork reveal the sincerity and confidence of the writer, and his unique style. His works are in the contemporary calligraphy world. "Nothing to be ashamed of". I have always been interested in studying calligraphy. For more than ten years, although my art has become clear in my mind, I have made no achievements. Now I am fortunate to know Xiuping and associate with him. I have benefited a lot. He is a person who has both morality and wisdom, and is both internal and external. His integrity and straightforward character left a deep impression on me.

For Zheng Xiuping, an outstanding contemporary young and middle-aged calligrapher, simple brush and ink techniques and writing can no longer cover the realm reached by his art and the meaning it reveals. The content and value embodied in the art of calligraphy must be examined at a cross-sectional level with the culture of the times. In short, the expression of calligraphy ultimately depends on the calligrapher's personal temperament and cultural habits to confirm the philosophical concepts and spiritual support, and to present a very harmonious and changeable Form beauty. However, the literati temperament of his calligraphy "inside" and the elegance and mellowness "outside" of his calligraphy are still superb and unmatched in elegance. The calligraphy and ink skills reflect the character and character of the calligrapher. Learning, as Zhu Xi of the Song Dynasty said, "is all about following the principles of life and fate and following the path of change." The "way of change" mentioned here is also the core of Zheng Xiuping's artistic thought.

Those who study calligraphy do not know the value of creation and the law of law from law to lawlessness, so it will be difficult to distinguish between authenticity and beauty and ugliness.
