The Natural Landscape of Nanguo Temple

Nanguo Temple, with Cangshan Mountain at its back and water at its face, is a treasure house of Zen forest. Today, Du Fu, a poet saint in the Tang Dynasty, climbed the verdant cypress to sweep the floor, and the giant locust tree was towering, and the spring scenery in the north stream was sweet and clear. This Buddhist temple with a ridge and eaves is majestic. The three mountain gates are located in the north and south, and the courtyard wall winds from east to west. The buildings in the courtyard are built on the mountain, and the layout is three into seven courtyards. The whole building is divided into three courtyards: east, middle and west, with three mountain gates echoing the three halls in the middle as the longitudinal axis, and the partition walls of the courtyards are provided with doors to communicate with each other. There is a Yin Hui Mountain in the southern suburb of Tianshui City, Gansu Province, which has a peculiar mountain and beautiful scenery. Yin Hui is a branch of Sun Mountain. The main bee of Taiyangshan is located about 25 kilometers south of Qincheng District, with an altitude of 2059 meters. It is a mountain with dense forest, majestic and steep, with branches extending in all directions and shining like the sun. People call it "Fude Wisdom" Mountain. Among the branches of this mountain, there is a northbound branch called Panlong Mountain, which is mighty, like a winding dragon going straight to Qin Cheng and reaching the river, showing a gesture of "water playing with pearls". This "Qinglong" is divided into two mountains with Longwanggou as the boundary: one is Wenfeng Mountain; One is Mount Yin Hui. Yin Hui Mountain, also known as Huiying Mountain. The word "Yin Hui" originally comes from the Buddhist language, which means enlightening wisdom and consciousness. The elevation of this mountain is 1 136- 1389 meters, with a height difference of 226 meters and a slope of 12.4o, which is quite strange. It looks like a farmer's dustpan and is semi-concave. There is an open platform in the recess, and Nanguo Temple is located on this flat palm platform. Yin Hui is also a treasure trove of geomantic omen, which has always been known as "the mountains have wisdom, the water has spirit, and the bells are beautiful". The so-called mountain with spiritual wisdom means that there is a well-known Nanguo Temple with a long history in the concave part of the mountain. This ancient temple is famous not only because it is located in a beautiful Buddhist resort, but also because of the poem "Southern Temple on the Mountain" inscribed by Du Fu, a poet in the Tang Dynasty.

The temple is sung through the ages in the name of poetry. There is also a five-character poem Nanshan Temple, which is said to have been written by the poet Li Taibai. Although it has not been confirmed, this poem has been circulated for thousands of years, and it is one of the cultural relics of Nanguo Temple anyway. It has always been regarded as a good poem praising Nanguo Temple and is highly appreciated. The so-called "water has spirit" is the Beiliu Spring in Du Fu's poem about a pool in the east courtyard of Nanguo Temple. The fountain in the pool has been endless for thousands of years. Although there are droughts and floods, it does not shrink, and the water quality is crisp and sweet. People call it Lingquan, and this wine can cure diseases, so it is the crown of famous springs in Gansu. Nanguo Temple enjoys the reputation of beautiful scenery in Zhong Ling, because it is in this magical land where mountains are better than water. Each courtyard is a quadrangle, and the affiliated courtyards are relatively independent and interdependent, separated by a protective wall and with a moon gate. One door leads to seven hospitals. Seventh Hospital: East Hospital enters Second Hospital, Intermediate Hospital enters Independent Hospital, and West Hospital enters Fourth Hospital. There is a brick tower in the West Courtyard of Sui Dynasty (recorded). There are 28 buildings, including temples, meditation halls, pavilions and memorial archways, with more than 80 rooms, covering an area of 26,700 square meters. West Courtyard West Courtyard: It is the main building complex of Nanguo Temple. From the winding mountain, step into the temple. Before the hospital, two branches of Sophora japonica looked at the clouds and the leaves covered the sun. The first decorated archway-style gate is hung with a large plaque inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu, Vice Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and President of the Chinese Buddhist Association. Inner left bell tower, right drum tower. There are two courtyards at the east and west ends of the front yard: Du Shaoling Temple in the east; To the west is the "Zen Forest" courtyard. The first hall in the front yard is the "Tianwang Hall", which is three rooms wide and hung on the top of the mountain with five beams to construct the front porch structure. There is a big plaque hanging on the forehead of the door, copying the First Mountain written by Mi Fei, a calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty. The couplet reads: Buddha land is boundless. Look at the layers of Huishan. A thousand peaks stand flat, and a flowing spring cannot be turbid. Go out with a smile, and the river embraces the city. Sitting in front of Maitreya, standing behind the protector Wei Tuo. Clay sculpture painted statues of the four heavenly kings (four generals of the skyscraper), the main hall is just south of the backyard, that is, the Hall of Heroes. On the right door of the main hall hangs a large plaque inscribed by Tianshui celebrity and contemporary painter Zhou, "You should be homeless". Nanguo Temple is located in Yin Hui Mountain, 2 kilometers south of Tianshui City. This temple has a long history. From the travel poems written by Du Fu, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, it can be seen that Nanguo Temple has reached a considerable scale in the Tang Dynasty. There are architectural attractions, such as Tianwang Temple, Bell and Drum Tower, zenrinji, Guan Temple, Temple and Beiliu Spring. And Tang Huai Bai Han, whose colors soar into the sky and branches soar into the sky. Now it is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit and one of the urban tourist attractions.
