Zhengshi Middle School in Yinzhou District of Ningbo City is the oldest middle school in Yinzhou District. Its predecessor was Ningbo Higher Engineering School with junior high school (one of the predecessors of Zhejiang University of Technology). 1934 was officially named as Yinxian Private Zhengshi Middle School. 1956 and 1958 were renamed as Yinxian No.2 Junior Middle School and Yinxian Hengxi Middle School. In the meantime, the famous writer Guo Moruo once wrote the name of the school. 1994 Restore the original school name of Zhengshi Middle School. Now it is a first-class key middle school in Zhejiang Province.
