In August 1994, the "Ni Weigong Calligraphy Art Exhibition" was grandly held at the Luzhou Branch of the Sichuan International Folk Art Festival in China. The leaders of the four teams of the Municipal Party Committee, the People's Congress, the Municipal Government, and the CPPCC cut the ribbon for the competition. More than 100 people The masterpieces of Ni's calligraphy have attracted calligraphy enthusiasts and collectors from all over southern Sichuan. Envoys from the United States, Germany, Mexico, Belgium, North Korea and other countries who participated in the art festival, as well as artist delegations from Shanghai and Yunnan, also came in droves and never left.

In March 1996, the second issue of "Calligraphy" magazine, which is well-known at home and abroad, had a special column, introducing Mr. Ni Weigong and his books in two columns: "Special Topics" and "Modern Calligraphers" , to promote Ni Weigong’s profound calligraphy art at home and abroad.

In August 2002, Mr. Ni Weigong was invited by Qiu Chunlin, executive vice president of the China Art Education Promotion Association, to go to Beijing.
