Longmatan is a part of Luzhou Zhongshan Scenic Area, located in the eastern suburb of Luzhou 10 km. The pool is clear, the temples are towering, the ancient trees are towering, the flowers and plants are lush, and the bamboo shadows are dancing. Yangqiao Water Park is famous for its green hills, clear water, fragrant flowers and abundant fish.
The river is green and deep as a pool, and the mountains in the pool are like islands. "Lu Xian County Records" records that during the Jia period of the Northern Song Dynasty (1056 1063), a temple was built on the mountain, surrounded by phoenix trees, also known as Biwuyi. After that, it experienced the reconstruction and cultivation of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty, Qianlong in Qing Dynasty and Xuan Tong, which made it have a larger scale. The existing exhibition hall was rebuilt in recent years. In the poem "Dragon Matan" written by Jiang, a flower explorer in Qing Dynasty, there are thousands of fish shadows in the bow and a bunch of praises in the mirror, which shows the quiet and beautiful scenery of Dragon Matan. Watching fish by shaking bamboo is one of the eight scenic spots in Luzhou.
There is a stone tablet in front of the building, engraved with the poem of Huang Yungu, a calligrapher in Qing Dynasty: Where does the dragon and horse go? Immortals cannot be found. Only Yutan got into the water, and finally he took care of Dan Xin. Calligraphy is vigorous and poetic. Scholars in previous dynasties praised Longmatan, including the couplet engraved on the gate by Zhao Fan of Yongning Daotai: Ask the good traveler what he has heard and seen; Without heart, the mountain is not high and the water is not deep. Reading is thought-provoking Longmatan has a quiet environment and pleasant scenery, and there are many tourists during festivals.
