This feeling is especially obvious on Mount Tai.
Why does Mount Tai have such an important position in China culture?
In ancient times, theocracy was supreme, and the existence of God was higher than the administration of personnel and tribal leaders, and it was entitled to be ordered by and responsible for heaven. What it has done must be told to heaven. This is a major ceremony, that is, offering sacrifices to heaven. The place where the ceremony was held was chosen on a high mountain to show solemnity.
Why did you choose Mount Tai?
There are many high mountains in China, but because of the special geographical environment of Mount Tai.
Among the five mountains, Mount Tai is located in the east, symbolizing growth, brightness and solemnity. The East is the source of life and a symbol of hope and good luck.
Ancient ancestors worshipped and sacrificed mountain gods as the object of praying for good weather.
Therefore, Mount Tai in the east has become an auspicious mountain and the home of the gods.
The "son of heaven" who is destined by heaven regards Mount Tai as a symbol of national unity and strength.
Among the numerous scenic spots in Mount Tai, there are the Jade Emperor Peak, the magnificent platform of Confucius and Wanglu, the Gongbei stone in the sky, the 18-plate ladder hanging upside down, the Tang Cliff with rich calligraphy, the resplendent temple and the towering Fan Cliff. Which is the most popular? Which is the funniest? Which impressed me the most? It often causes heated discussion among tourists!

The most amazing thing
As far as natural scenery is concerned, the three scenic spots of Mount Tai are not immortal bridge, stack platform and Fanya.
Xianren Bridge is located on the west side of Zhan Lu Terrace. The two cliffs are connected by three stones suspended in mid-air. The abyss is under it, the wind is blowing, and it naturally forms. "If you don't become an immortal, you can't get through", which is amazing!
Zhan Lu Terrace, also known as Snake Cliff, is located on the south side of Riguan Peak. It is steep on three sides and located on the Wan Ren. It is said that Confucius once visited here and looked at his hometown Qufu.
Fanya, also known as cactus, is adjacent to Xixi of Mount Tai in the east. The Qifeng is towering, abrupt and steep, shaped like a huge fan.

human landscape
If we refer to the human landscape, the three scenic spots of Mount Tai are very different. Hongmen Palace, Confucius Temple and Bi Xia Temple will definitely rank among the top three. Although their scenery is far from beautiful, their cultural connotation is far superior!
Hongmen Palace, named after the red stone on the cliff in Lingnan, is an ancient architectural complex preserved by the three religions. In front of the palace, there is a place where Confucius ascended the throne. The West Courtyard is dedicated to Bi Xia Yuan Jun, and the East Courtyard is dedicated to Maitreya. Among them, the Little Mount Tai in the West Courtyard is a place where many pilgrims worship and pray.
Confucius Temple, located on Mount Tai, overlooking the five peaks, is a true portrayal of "Mount Tai among the saints in Mount Tai, and Mount Tai is called Confucius"
During the college entrance examination every year, there will be an endless stream of tourists here. Pray for "Wendi" to protect the children and get good grades!
Bi Xia Temple, located at the eastern end of Tianjie in Taishan Mountain, is symmetrical as a whole, with a gradual layout of low in the south and high in the north. It is a typical representative of Taoist architecture in China.
It is dedicated to Bi Xia Yuan Jun, who is called "Grandma Taishan". It is the most popular goddess in China, and it is also called "South Mazu and North Bi Xia" with Empress Mazu.
The sunrise on Mount Tai is also one of the wonders of Mount Tai.
Whenever tourists stand on the mountain in the misty morning or evening and look along the light, they may see an ethereal fog curtain, showing a colorful halo with blue inside and red outside, reflecting the whole figure in it, just like the colorful halo on the head of the Buddha statue, so it is called Buddha's light or treasure light.
There is a pine tree on the hillside west of Mount Tai.
The shape seems eager to welcome tourists from all directions to Mount Tai. It is called "welcoming pine"
It is over 500 years old and was once regarded as the geographical symbol of Mount Tai.
It appears on the back of RMB in 5 yuan, and it has another name in folklore, that is "Wang Fusong".
Legend has it that five thousand years ago, there lived a couple in Chaoyang Cave in Mount Tai.
Work at sunrise, rest at sunset, men plow and women weave, and be self-sufficient.
One day, the husband went up the mountain to cut firewood and saw two people fighting in the forest.
He quickly dissuaded the two men for thousands.
This really scared him! I saw one of them, with fine features, wearing a white robe and leaning against the sky with a sword in his hand. His movements are very effective, but there are many scars on his body, which seems to be a shortcoming.
When the man in white saw it, he shouted: I am the guardian spirit of Mount Tai, fighting a black bear spirit. Please help me subdue it quickly, or Mount Tai will be destroyed.
When the man in white saw it, he shouted: I am the guardian spirit of Mount Tai, fighting a black bear spirit. Please help me subdue it quickly, or Mount Tai will be destroyed.
I immediately understood the reason after hearing the elf's cry, so I sneaked around a pine tree behind the black bear essence, found the right time, threw a stone in the past, and hit the black bear essence on the back of the head.
Ling was injured in the fight, so the man invited the Taishan spirit to his home to heal. Under the careful care of the husband and wife, the elf only recovered in three days.
In order to repay the couple's help, the elf turned into a stonemason and cut out tens of thousands of steps overnight, connecting the foot of Mount Tai with the top of the mountain and opening the way for Mount Tai. When he left, he gave the couple a bag of seeds and told them to scatter them on Mount Tai, so that they would bloom everywhere next spring, which was particularly beautiful.
The couple scattered seeds on the hillside according to the instructions of the mountain elves, and sure enough, the next year was like a fairyland.
In order to turn my residence into the most beautiful place in Mount Tai.
The husband went out to find a florist to learn how to plant flowers and trees.
I haven't heard from you since I left.
The wife stands on the hillside every day, waiting for her husband's return. No matter spring, summer, autumn and winter, I see her lonely figure every day. One winter, a snowstorm covered the whole Mount Tai. My wife disappeared after the ice and snow melted. Only a slender pine tree appeared where she stood, just like the young woman looking at the distance, expecting her husband's return.
This is the story of Yingkesong. Although mixed with many myths, I have to say that nature's uncanny workmanship is really amazing!
Although many people have not personally experienced the scenery of Mount Tai, everyone has seen it, just on the back of the five yuan.
As a cultural symbol, Mount Tai has long been deeply rooted in the thinking concept of China people. This concept will not change with the change of dynasties and has been passed down to this day. So it is not surprising that Mount Tai is the only famous mountain among the five mountains that appears on the RMB.
Finally, I appeal to friends who visit Mount Tai to take care of the environment and protect the cultural heritage of China.
