Zhang Mingyu's interview with Zhang Mingyu.

Miss Mingyu Zhang described herself as follows: Although she didn't finish thousands of books, she went to Wan Li Road since she was a child.

1944 In the late period of the Anti-Japanese War, Yu Ming, who was less than 10, was led by her mother in her early thirties. She tossed and turned from Tianjin 100 days and went to her father who was an engineer in Chongqing. There were too many hardships and tribulations on her way to Wan Li. Teacher Zhang recalled: "I have been on trains, cars, ox carts, carts pulled by people, donkeys, dry roads and waterways ... I was almost killed by Japanese planes several times ... This experience is not much among my peers, and it also makes me look mature." It is this maturity that gives him a strong personality, which enables him to finish middle school in Lanzhou alone and study alone in Shanghai after graduating from high school. From 65438 to 0955, Mingyu Zhang, who graduated from high school, was encouraged by his classmates and was full of curiosity about drama performances. Without consulting with my family, I entered the Shanghai Theatre Academy, which I knew nothing about before. With the admission ticket and 60 yuan from his family, he took a hard seat on the train for three days and nights and came to Shanghai from Lanzhou to take the exam. At that time, there was no precedent for applying for Shanghai universities from the northwest. Because of the particularity of his major, he was allowed to take the exam. Before the list was released, Mr. Zhu Duanjun, then director and educator of Shanghai Theatre Academy, specifically told him not to rush home until the results were obtained. Soon, Ming Yuzhang was on the list, and then he lived in Shanghai for more than 50 years.

On campus, he eagerly studied knowledge and systematically received professional training, which laid a solid foundation for the road of art. However, two years of quiet and full school life were suddenly broken. At the beginning of 1958, he was classified as a rightist because he was a student. 1959, this rightist hat caused him to fail to get a diploma with the signature and seal of Mr. Xiong Foxi, then president of Shanghai Theatre Academy, a famous drama director and drama educator, like his classmates. Twenty years later, the college reissued his diploma, but it wasn't signed by Dean Xiong Foxi, who had died for many years.

Unexpectedly, Ming Yuzhang, who didn't "graduate", got the opportunity to "continue studying in the class and stay in the experimental drama troupe after the study". "If you are assigned to a foreign country or leave the literary and art circles, you will suffer a lot!" Fifty years later, Zhang Mingyu is still grateful that the school saved him in this way. But although he stayed in the troupe, because he didn't "graduate", the opportunity to play various main roles was cut off from him. He can only "run away from the masses" all day, without enjoying the monthly salary of 48.5 yuan for other college graduates (at that time, the monthly food cost was about 12 yuan). With only 30 yuan for living expenses, he is much poorer than his classmates.

1959 10 10 In October, his rightist hat, which he had worn for more than a year, was removed, and both he and the college leaders felt that they had turned a heavy page. At this time, Dean Xiong Foxi made an unexpected decision: Zhang Mingyu will play the leading role of Deng Shichang in his play The Sino-Japanese War. Ming Yuzhang, who just took off her hat, was dumbfounded at the sudden opportunity to play such an important role in such an important play. "When the general assembly suddenly announced (this decision), I was so surprised that I couldn't believe my ears. I dare not look up all the way to the meeting. " Teacher Zhang smiled and recalled the scene at that time.

It is the play "Sino-Japanese War" that laid a very important foundation for Zhang Mingyu's future creative path and strengthened his confidence in literary and artistic work. He knows that only hard work can repay the teacher's trust and love.

"This drama is very heavy, and the technical requirements for the actors are very high. There was a scene in which Deng Shichang vented his resentment and depression on the beach after he was dismissed from office. The director asked me to dance the sword myself. Although I learned China dance in the basic course of the college, I still made great efforts to make this whole set of sword dance well. Teacher Fang, a famous Kunqu opera teacher, arranged a set of combined movements and taught them in a down-to-earth manner. I study hard. Besides rehearsing, I practice my sword every day when I have time ... It's a sword with spikes hanging from the hilt, and a sword flower dances out. The spike of the sword must be straight and can't bypass my hand, so it's difficult. It was not easy to practice at first, but it took a lot of effort, and finally it was practiced ... "Teacher Zhang recalled affectionately, and his words still made people feel his seriousness in those years.

The Sino-Japanese War was a great success. Zhang Mingyu insists that this is based on strong collective strength, thanks to the joint efforts of writers, directors, dance teachers, stage art, music and all cast members. Then he played Don Pietro, the first hero of the prince, in Shakespeare's famous play Much ado about nothing, and played the main role Ruan Dacheng in Peach Blossom Fan. ...

When he was young, he appeared in some famous works and plays-he played the leading role in two plays in a row and played an important role in other plays, which benefited Mingyu Zhang a lot and quickly became the main actor of the troupe. His heart is full of longing for the future.

However, around 1963, the situation suddenly changed, and the rightist Mingyu Zhang, who took off his hat, was once again "left in the cold" ...

From an excellent middle school student who can't find any shortcomings in the graduation appraisal book to a right-wing college student, from an artistic rising star to the object of dictatorship, the ups and downs have made Ming Yuzhang experience the indifference of the world and the world.

Teacher Zhang feels that his acting talent is not high, and he can only make up for it through hard work. The hardships of fate inspired him to be more diligent and more strict with himself, whether he was creating or performing or being a man or doing things. He wants to "make all walks of life speechless!" Adversity and tribulation eventually became his wealth!

"Since you are engaged in the work of an actor, you must be dedicated. Circumstances force me to do this: no matter what role I am given, no matter how big or small, I will try my best to play it well. Over time, without the common pursuit of fame and fortune in the circle, we have developed the habit of not competing with the world. "

It is his dedication and hard work in the performing arts that makes Mr. Zhang's artistic career never stop and become a truly pure artist that the audience loves and respects. At the end of the Cultural Revolution, the drama world ushered in spring, and Zhang Mingyu, who was rehabilitated, also ushered in another spring of her artistic life. Since 1980s, Mr. Zhang has played a leading role in many plays and won many awards. In Li Shimin, King of Qin, Zhang Mingyu won the performance award of the first Shanghai Theatre Festival with 198 1 (later renamed as "Magnolia Award") for her successful role as "Li Yuan". Dr. Zhao Liang, played in Shang Yang, won the Baoshan Elegant Art Award; Lin Chengsen, secretary of the provincial party committee, won the "Magnolia Award for Best Supporting Actor" again for his successful portrayal in the drama version of God. He won the Golden Lion Award for National Drama in recognition of his contribution to China's drama for more than 50 years in the past half century ... and he has participated in many film and television works in recent years.

Speaking of drama and film and television drama performances, Mr. Zhang has many original opinions and methods. In order to deal with the speech state of the characters in the TV series, he bought a small tape recorder, recorded long lines in advance, and then released them to see what was unnatural. After the improvement, he recorded it several times until he was most satisfied. The combination of listening to tapes and reading scripts is also very effective for memorizing lines. The other actors in the crew actually asked him to record their lines and read them out together during the performance. This method was later used in many theatrical performances.

In order to play vice admiral in a TV series, he followed the film crew to three naval bases, spent three months experiencing life, carefully observing the living habits and behaviors of soldiers, and gave up his leisure time, and finally succeeded in shaping the image of a general.

In recent years, the drama industry has begun to fall into a trough. Teacher Zhang sees it in his eyes and hurts in his heart. In his view, drama, as a performing art, should exert a subtle influence on people's thoughts, not just some simple products. Nowadays, many dramas are becoming more and more niche, and the taste is too single. He doesn't think the play should be confused by the box office results that look good at present. The drama should be changed and improved, and deeper things should constantly emerge in front of the audience, so that the drama can really come alive. I hope that in the near future, there will be a weighty play on the drama stage again. ...

Teacher Zhang's lover, Yolanda, is an excellent drama performance artist. In those difficult years, they were also in adversity and came all the way from the wind and rain with deep feelings. In the 1980s, facing the golden age of their career, the troubled couple seemed to make up for what they had lost in the turbulent years. They seized all the time and opportunity to create art and jointly created many wonderful works that are still popular in drama, dubbing and radio drama ... but Teacher Yuan died of a heart attack on 1995, which made many of their ideas never come true.

At the end of the 20th century, the radio drama Jane Eyre, which he collaborated with Cao Lei, and the radio drama The Knife Catcher, which was written by the anchor, won national awards in the field of broadcasting respectively. But when it comes to this, Mr. Zhang seems very dull. "Turning to dubbing and radio drama is not for any utilitarian purpose, but to continue to play his artistic expertise when the drama is in recession, and it is also a continuous training of language expression ability." In the plain words, there is still a persistent attachment to art.

There are many works by teacher Zhang in the online list of translated films, among which the best-selling one is Murder on the Orient Express (especially: Ming Yu Zhang dubbing version). Audiences are still willing to listen to the radio dramas Macbeth (Zhang Mingyu, Yuan) and Jane Eyre (Zhang Mingyu, Cao Lei), because there are too many wonderful memories and artistic enjoyment. Really good works of art should not be as gorgeous as fireworks but fleeting, but should bring people long-term enjoyment. Just like a plum blossom blooming quietly, the heavy snow may cover her tall and beautiful figure, but it is difficult to cover up the refreshing fragrance, which is worth remembering forever! The 75-year-old teacher Zhang has gradually faded out of the first-line stage in recent years. As a Muslim, he always has a regular diet and daily life. In recent years, he took a liking to tea, began to practice calligraphy, and occasionally participated in some drama performances.

Deng Shichang (Sino-Japanese War), Li Yuan (King of Qin) and Zhao Liang (Shang Yang) impressed Mr. Zhang the most. In the play Shang Yang, he was originally scheduled to play a son-in-law, but after reading the script, he found that Zhao Liang had a conscience, but he was selfish and timid, with complex psychological conflicts, struggling between reality and ideals. He was deeply attracted by the long lines and the wonderful performance of the protagonist Shang Yang. "I can understand and grasp his inner feelings, so I really want to play such a role." Teacher Zhang finally chose and successfully played Dr. Zhao Liang. In 2008, Shang Yang gave a special commemorative performance, in which he played Dr. Zhao Liang again. Zhao Wen, vice mayor of Shanghai and chairman of Shanghai Committee of Jiu San Society, attended the performance. After the performance, I also had a long telephone conversation with him, exchanged feelings and had a good talk.

At that time, Mr. Yuan brought back the script from America and translated the drama Love Letter himself, which was very popular after the performance. They once performed this excellent drama for Ba Lao in Ba Jin's apartment. In order to express his gratitude, Ba Lao presented them with a special limited edition of Random Thoughts. In the first half of 2008, he starred in the drama Love Letter again (renamed Love Letter). Drama lovers who watched the play conveyed their joy on their blogs: "Teacher Zhang Mingyu's voice is beyond imagination, and the audience listened with great satisfaction from time to time while enjoying the drama love letter, claiming that this move' can stimulate their imagination' ... although the two protagonists are only in the process.

In the suspense drama no one lives, there are many powerful dramatists, including Teacher Zhang. It is a great blessing for the fans to see them on the same stage. Teacher Zhang plays Colonel McKinsey in the play. In order to show the plot that Colonel McKinsey was murdered unconsciously while sitting on the balcony reading a book, he kept a posture for eight minutes, which amazed the audience. Teacher Zhang himself is addicted to practical jokes.

Recently, Mr. Zhang was hired as one of the experts in the national recitation examination, and he is still working hard to promote the language art. Mo Bao, who is often asked by friends at ordinary times, enjoys this elegance, freshness, calmness and calmness when splashing ink. Just as he is good at acting, dubbing and reciting, his calligraphy can also bring you artistic enjoyment.

Time slipped away unconsciously, and a whole afternoon passed in a blink of an eye, far exceeding the planned interview time. Sorry to bother you again, we got up to leave, and Mr. Zhang walked to the elevator.

Outside the door, the sun reflects the increasingly heavy sky, beautiful and bright. We sincerely wish Mr. Zhang Mingyu happiness! Happy! Health!
