Xuan Mo grasped the meaning of this poem.

Translation:

Brilliant daylily was born under the North Hall.

The south wind blows the day lily, swaying for whom to confide fragrance?

The kind mother leaned against the door, expecting the child.

Travellers who travel far away are so bitter!

Support for parents is alienating every day.

News of the child doesn't arrive every day.

Looking up at a misty forest,

It's a pity that I miss the call of the wise bird so far.

Original text:

Brilliant day lily flowers, Luosheng North Hall.

The south wind blows the heart, for whom do you vomit?

A loving mother leans against the door, but a wanderer cannot walk.

May the sun be sparse and the day be fearful.

Looking up at Yunlin, I am ashamed to listen to birds.
