I remember that in the twelfth year, just before the Spring Festival, my father and I went to the square to take pictures and saw stalls one after another selling couplets. There is a small Qianwei Pavilion full of people. Curiosity drove me to run over and look in which direction. As soon as I squeezed in, I saw a young grandfather writing at random on the citizens' couplet. You will get praise from others in the process of writing and completing your work. I really wanted to learn calligraphy at that time. So I signed up with Miss Li in Drunken Moxuan and started my calligraphy training.
At first, Miss Li taught us how to hold a pen and some basic strokes, and told us that the most important thing in practicing calligraphy is not to worry, but to be patient. After class, I dipped in ink and began to write. The pen didn't listen to me at all ... The most ridiculous thing is that I don't know when my hands and clothes will be stained with ink.
Because he usually goes to school, he only learns calligraphy on Sundays. After finishing his homework at home, he has to practice calligraphy, mainly copying Ouyang Xiu's fonts. Slowly, my big characters are much better than before. I play games with my father at home occasionally. Dad praised me for my good writing. Teacher Li also praised me for my great progress. So I am particularly confident.
I turned my eyes, and on the twelfth picture, I took a picture, which was Li Bai's "Look at the Lushan Waterfall". It was even more beautiful after mounting, and I hung it in my study. Guests who come to my house always admire my work. Near the Spring Festival, Mr. Li taught us to write Spring Festival couplets, first learn origami, then cursive, not to mention how nice it would be ..... There are also big couplets with "happiness" upside down. I wrote many pairs of couplets and gave them upside down to my grandma and relatives. I was even happier than winning the prize when I heard their praise!
With everyone's affirmation, I am more interested in calligraphy now. For more than a year, I have been learning calligraphy on my own initiative, whether on Sundays or holidays. I am looking forward to greater progress, taking part in some writing competitions and winning medals that make my mother happy. I believe I will overcome all difficulties, stick to the road of calligraphy and become a calligrapher.
