His courtesy name is Xi Bo and his nickname is Mr. Zhongyue. Guan Guozi Jijiu, Guangzhou Governor, Qingzhou Governor, later became Secretary Supervisor, and was given the posthumous title Wengong. Zheng Daozhao is known in history as "a young man who loves to learn, is well-read,...well-read in classics, and has a secret talent." His many inscriptions carved on the cliffs of Qingzhou and Guangzhou are collectively called "Yunfeng Carved Stones" (including Yunfeng Carved Stones in Ye County). Fengshan, Taiji Mountain, Tianzhu Mountain in Pingdu County, Linglong Mountain in Yidu County). During the Jiaqing and Daoguang periods of the Qing Dynasty, more than 40 places written by Zheng Daozhao were found in Yunfeng Mountain and Tianzhu Mountain in Shandong, becoming one of the three treasures of calligraphy art in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Among them, the cliff carvings such as "Zheng Wengong Ascends the Stele", "Zheng Wengong Ascends the Stele", "Poems on Classical Books", and "Poems of Guanhai Tong" are the most famous. From the appreciation of these representative works of Zheng Daozhao's calligraphy art, the characteristics of his calligraphy style are that he mostly uses the front edge (occasionally uses the side edge) when writing, which has big ups and downs; the ups and downs turn, and is solid everywhere; sometimes he uses the side edge to gain momentum, and sometimes he uses the side edge to gain momentum. , both the sharp edge shines on the outside and the muscles and bones on the inside. The wonderful thing is that square and round are used together. It is neither square nor round, but it is both square and round. Either the body is square and the body is round, or the body is square and the body is round. Therefore, it can give people the feeling of broad structure and powerful writing power. Kang Youwei's "Guangyi Zhou Shuangji" lists 42 types of Zhengdao Zhaoyun Peak carved stones as "wonderful products". It is said that "Yunfeng Mountain Carved Stones are tall and elegant, dense and reasonable." (See "Yunfeng Mountain Carved Stones".)
