Yu Hui
Yu Hui, female, was born in Tongshan County, Jiangsu Province in 1960 in Nanjing. He is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a national first-class artist, vice president of the Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Academy, vice president of the Chinese Meticulous Painting Society, researcher of the China National Academy of Painting, and distinguished professor of the Art Institute of Nanjing University.

Yu Hui, female, was born in Tongshan County, Jiangsu Province in 1960 in Nanjing.
Soldier of the Third Department of the General Staff from 1977 to 1979.
Graduated from the Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Academy from 1980 to 1983.
Graduated from the graduate class of Nanjing University of the Arts from 2000 to 2002.
Director of the Flower and Bird Painting Research Institute of Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Academy from 2002 to present.
He is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a national first-class artist, and the director of the Flower-and-Bird Painting Research Institute of the Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Academy.
My father, Mr. Yu Jigao, is an outstanding contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painter in my country.

At 7 pm on December 24, 2003, Keyi Gallery on Hunan Road in Nanjing will hold a solo exhibition titled "Stone Flowers: Yu Hui's New Works". In these dozen of Yu Hui's new works, the tender flowers and weeds of the past have disappeared. Instead, what comes to mind are the majestic Taihu stones and the lonely but not dejected big birds. The inspiration of freehand brushwork in ink and wash has replaced the meticulousness of gongbi painting.
