Yan Zhenqing's eight basic strokes

The basic strokes are horizontal, vertical, left, right, fold, hook, pick and dot. No matter how difficult it is to write words, they are all composed of these eight basic strokes. Although some strokes will be divided into more strokes, they will never be separated. All strokes are evolved from eight basic strokes. Stroke is the basic element of Chinese characters, and it is also the basic skill that beginners need to study hard and practice hard. Only by doing the basic skills well can they write better words.

Transverse method

The oblique angle from the left should cover the front, and the right line of the pen should be in the middle. Backwardness should be slightly rounded, with thick ends and thin ends.

Vertical method

Vertical painting is like a water column, which flows to the bottom and follows closely, just like dripping water. When writing, be sure to return the pen.

Skim floating foam

Skimming like a dagger is short, sharp and fast. When starting, you should reverse gear to slow down. When you pick up the pen, you should move to the left, and the speed of the front should be accelerated.

holding method

The swallowtail butterfly with silkworm head becomes a swallow with a round head, a thin neck and a big tail. Keep in mind the method of carrying pens and transport them home with twists and turns.

Point method

No matter how the posture changes, reverse the pen and return to the middle of the abdomen.

Tifa

The formula puts the pen on the left, and then leans slightly to the right. It is thin and strong, not fat, and writes quickly and steadily.

Hook method

There are many ways to tick the word Yan, and it is difficult to succeed without writing. Horizontal hook, hook hook and vertical hook hook are suitable.

Folding method

The words are angular, so writing Chinese characters is more thoughtful, cadence is important, and the effect can be seen in one stroke and one painting.
