The study of steles refers to the study of the source, era, system, authenticity and text content of steles, and also refers to the calligraphy school that advocates steles. The study of steles has three basic meanings, namely "North stele", "North seal stele" and "Bei Tang stele". It began in Song Dynasty and flourished after the middle of Qing Dynasty. In Qing Dynasty, Ruan Yuan advocated the theory of North-South Calligraphy School, and classified the beautiful and elegant Gu Mo as the "Tiexue" of South School.
Shi Xingwen, a famous calligrapher, was born on 1957 Dragon Boat Festival. The seventh director of China Calligraphers Association, the fourth vice chairman and secretary general of Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, the member of China Prose Society, and the vice president of Shaanxi Writers Painting and Calligraphy Institute. He was awarded the titles of "Top Ten Young Calligraphers in Shaanxi", "Artists with Virtue and Art in Shaanxi" and "Advanced Individual in Calligraphy Activities in China" by China Calligraphy Association. Calligraphy works have been selected for more than 20 national exhibitions organized by China Calligraphy Association, and won the first prize of the National Calligraphy Competition for 5 times. He studied the inscription 12 years, studied the inscription 12 years, and then wrote 10 years in cursive. He has profound thoughts on calligraphy inscriptions.
