Which emperors did Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of the Three Kingdoms, assist? Liu Bei and Liu Chan

Zhuge Liang, also known as Kong Ming and Wolong, was the prime minister of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period. He is an outstanding politician, strategist, essayist, calligrapher and inventor. No matter in the history of China or among the people, he is a man of the hour. Zhuge Liang assisted two emperors in his life, one was Liu Bei and the other was Liu Chan.

Liu Bei, a descendant of King Zhongshan in the Western Han Dynasty, was the founding emperor and politician in the Three Kingdoms period. It is said that at that time, Liu Bei attached himself to Liu Biao, assembled troops in Xinye and led the army north. Later, Liu Bei's strength was too small and his condition was unfavorable, so he retired. As no one knows the current situation, Liu Bei urgently needs a strategist who can help him deal with political and military issues. Later, Zhuge Liang was recommended by Xu Shu, and Liu Bei personally met Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang proposed to him the strategy of "Long Zhong Dui", which became the basic national policy of Liu Bei and Shu Han in the following decades.

Battle of Red Cliffs and Liu Bei lost Xia Kou, so they turned to Sun Quan for help and fought Cao Cao with Zhuge Liang's help. In 2008 1 1 month, Cao Cao's army was attacked by Sun Quan and Liu Bei in Chibi. Cao Cao suffered heavy losses, and a plague broke out in the army. Cao Cao had to retreat to the north. After Battle of Red Cliffs, Zhuge Liang was appointed as a military commander and later became a military general. After the death of Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty, Liu Bei, who had become the king of Hanzhong, became emperor. Liu Bei refused at first and was persuaded by Zhuge Liang to become emperor. Then Zhuge Liang was appointed Prime Minister and recorded this history. In 223, Liu Bei was seriously ill. Liu Bei entrusted his son Liu Chan to Zhuge Liang to assist in politics, and Zhuge Liang died in this way.

Liu Chan Liu Chan, the son of Liu Bei, was the second emperor of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period. After Liu Bei's death, seventeen-year-old Liu Chan succeeded to the throne in Chengdu. According to Liu Bei's testamentary edict, Liu Chan was assisted by Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister, and worshipped as his father. In the same year, there were four rebellions in Shu Han. In order to stabilize the situation, Zhuge Liang sent Shang He to Wu State to make peace with Sun Quan. The following year, we devoted ourselves to developing agricultural production, stopping the war and letting the people recuperate. In 225 AD, Zhuge Liang and Cao Cao made many northern expeditions, and both sides won and lost. Later in 234, Zhuge Liang died from overwork at the age of 54.

After Zhuge Liang's death, Liu Chan was in charge of state affairs. It was not until 263 that Jiang Wei, the secretariat of Liangzhou, heard that Zhong would send troops to Guanzhong, so he wrote to Liu Chan to prepare for the transfer of troops. But Huang Hao, the eunuch, told Liu Chan that the enemy would not come, so Liu Chan didn't take it seriously, which led to Shu Han officials not knowing about it. Later, when it was in danger, Liu Chan refused to listen to the request of Liu Chen, the king of the North, or Hogo, the supervisor of South China, and went out to guard Chengdu. Instead, he surrendered on the advice of Qiao Zhou, the doctor of Guanglu. Finally, Shu Han was completely destroyed, and Liu Chan moved to Luoyang for the rest of his life. He died in 27 1 at the age of 65.

Zhuge Liang is not greedy for power, knows people well, is diligent for the people and has both ability and political integrity. It's a pity that such a person is not an emperor. If he were the emperor, I think the country must have developed very well at that time.
