Who is Sun Yat-sen’s grandson?

Sun Yat-sen’s grandsons are Sun Zhiping and Sun Zhiqiang.

Sun Yat-sen was born into a peasant family in Cuiheng Village, Xiangshan County, Guangdong Province (now Zhongshan City). In his youth, he was influenced by the struggle tradition of the Guangdong people and yearned for the cause of the Taiping Rebellion against the Qing Dynasty. He called himself "the second Hong Xiuquan".

The Chinese Tongmenghui was established in 1905 (the 31st year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu). On October 10, 1911 (the third year of Xuantong), the revolutionaries in the New Army contacted secretly and decided to revolt that night. After the Revolution of 1911, he was elected as the interim president of the Republic of China (term January 1, 1912 - April 1, 1912).

Sun Yat-sen died in Beijing on March 12, 1925. On June 1, 1929, according to his last wish, he was buried in the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum on Purple Mountain in Nanjing. In 1940, the Nationalist Government issued an order to the whole country, honoring him as the "Father of the Republic of China".

Extended information:

In the third generation of Sun Yat-sen, all the men have become old friends.

Sun Zhiping, the son of Chief Sun, left only one son, Sun Guoxiong. Since he was educated in the United States since he was a child and does not understand Chinese, he was once scolded by his teacher because he could not answer the question about the experiences of his great-grandfather Sun Yat-sen. But he has never forgotten his father's teachings - "Remember your roots." Sun Guoxiong has established Sun Yat-sen as his idol since he was a child: "My great-grandfather was a great man who worked hard for his dreams all his life."

Sun Guoxiong also has his own dream - to become a film actor. Although he majored in biochemistry in college, with his passion and belief, he bravely entered Hollywood and later worked as a stuntman for 37 years. And many times, he still insists on playing a small role and acting as a stand-in.

Sun Guoxiong's first appearance was when he played a villager in "The Ugly American" starring the famous American movie star Marlon Brando. He earned 16 US dollars after a hard day's work. During his career, he has participated in the production of about 600 movies and TV series, and has filmed many thrilling scenes of falling from tall buildings, as well as car crashes and explosions.

In a movie called "Extraordinary Courage", he even "died" 19 times. Although it is hard work, he is very satisfied with being able to do a career he likes. He believes that "it is very interesting for Sun Yat-sen's descendants to be stuntmen."

A few years ago, Sun Guoxiong retired and established a stunt training company in Los Angeles, becoming a "coach" himself.

Sun Guoxiong and his wife Bai Di gave birth to three golden flowers, Sun Meiling, Sun Meilan and Sun Meilian, and a youngest son, Sun Weiren. Sun Meiling once imitated her father as a stuntman, and later worked in marketing for an energy company. Sun Meilan was a market analyst, Sun Meilian worked in a law firm, and her son Sun Weiren was still studying.

Sun Guoxiong’s family is currently in Los Angeles. They are peaceful and low-key people and never talk about the great achievements of their ancestors. They are quite prestigious in the local overseas Chinese community. After the first marriage of Sun Zhiqiang, the second son of Sun Ke, failed, the two remaining daughters, Sun Jialin and Sun Jiayu, were both in the United States. He had two more sons, Sun Guoyuan and Sun Guosheng, with his second wife, both of whom were later sent to the United States to study.

Sun Zhiqiang named his youngest son "Guosheng", which means "the national destiny is gradually rising." Guosheng also understood his father's expectations and began practicing calligraphy hard at the age of 10. He and his brother Guoyuan are the only two of the fourth generation descendants of Sun Yat-sen who can speak Chinese and write Chinese characters. Currently, Sun Guosheng is engaged in software work at the University of Southern California.
