The Qianfo Temple Grottoes were first excavated in the first year of Tang Yonglong. 1963 was announced as a key cultural relics protection unit in Henan province, and in 20001was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit, which is of great value to the study of Buddhism and sculpture art in China.

Also known as Wanfo Temple, Shikong Temple and Thousand Buddha Cave. Located in Yucun West, Shuanglong Town, 40km west of huangling county City, Yan 'an City, the grottoes are dug between the cliffs in the Mid-Levels. This cornice is a well-preserved original in Shaanxi grottoes, and it is a precious material for studying the architecture of the Song Dynasty. According to the study of the existing inscriptions and the inscriptions in Qing Dynasty, the Thousand-Buddha Temple should be built in Tang Sheng era. Named after the Thousand Buddha Cave in the temple. There are more than a thousand Buddha statues in the cave, so it is called "Thousand Buddha Cave". There is a III Buddha in the cave, which is covered by Sumitomo Lotus. The cave wall was inscribed by Tang Gaozong and Wuhou in the Tang Dynasty, and the calligrapher Cheng Hao wrote the word "Buddha country" at the entrance of the cave. In front of the cave, there is a roll shed and a roof worship hall, which was built in the Qing Dynasty.
