After Zhao Min fell into the sea and died, his body surfaced. A flock of birds crouched on the corpse, covered with the remains of Shaodi, drifting with the tide until Chiwan (now Shekou, Shenzhen). There is a Tianhou Temple by the sea in Chiwan. One day, the temple owner went to the seaside to play, and suddenly saw a floating corpse on the sea, covered and protected by birds.
The temple owner thought that the floating corpse must be the remains of aliens, so he tried to drag it ashore. When the floating corpse came ashore, the birds flew away, revealing the body of a child, dressed in a yellow robe and ruddy as a stranger. The temple owner knows that this is the remains of the young emperor Zhao Min. At this moment, a pillar of the Tianhou Temple by the sea suddenly collapsed.
The master of the temple and the elders of Taigong thought that this pillar was the wood used by Tianhou Empress to make a coffin for Shaodi, so they made a coffin with it and buried it at the foot of Xiaonan Mountain in the west of Tianhou Palace.
Present situation of Song Shaodi Mausoleum:
Song Shaodi Mausoleum is far less atmospheric than the general imperial mausoleum, and the whole cemetery is almost unobstructed. The cemetery faces Xiaonanshan in the north and Lingdingyang in the south. In the middle is the tomb of Shaodi. A huge stone tablet stands in the middle of the cemetery. There are two dragons carved on the top of the tombstone with a sun relief in the middle. In the middle of the tombstone, there are eight gold-encrusted characters of "Tomb of the Young Emperor of the Great Song Dynasty".
Behind the monument is a pile of graves with double arc fences. The top surface of the front section is made of Xiangyun and painted with cinnabar, and the top surface of the back section is made of Shuanglong and decorated with phoenix birds.
On the east side of the tomb, there is a white stone tablet in Quanzhou, with the inscription on the tomb of Emperor Min of the Song and Ming Dynasties on the front, which describes his life, Lu Xiufu's sacrifice to the sea and the construction of the tomb. The inscription was written by the famous calligrapher Shang Chengzuo.
