Present situation of Yan Ping Monument in Yuan Shizu and Yan Ping Monument in Yuan Shizu

After Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, it has been preserved in its original place for more than 700 years. 1965, Yunnan Provincial People's Committee announced it as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units, and erected a marble monument with a height of 1 m and a width of 0.65 m on the south side of the monument. The monument is managed by Dali County Cultural Center, and Jacky Cheung, a villager from Ximen Village, is employed as the administrator, who is responsible for daily management and cleaning. When someone visits, the comrades in charge of cultural relics in the cultural center will receive the introduction. During the period of 1975, the state paid more and more attention to the protection of cultural relics, and the protection of Yuan Shizu Yunping Monument was put on the agenda. Through investigation, the Dali County Cultural Center invited local artisans to discuss, made a detailed restoration plan and budget, wrote a report, and reported it to the county, state and provincial cultural relics authorities step by step, requesting special funds for restoration. The Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture responded to the report and allocated funds for restoration. Dali County Revolutionary Committee entrusted the restoration task to Dali Cultural Center, and the specific work was undertaken by Comrade Yang Yiqing and Yang Yuchun. The restoration project is implemented in accordance with the principle of "protecting the status quo and restoring the original state" in the Regulations on the Administration of Cultural Relics. First, the upper and lower pieces of the tablet and inscription are put back on the base by crane, and the reinforced outer frame in the shape of arch coupon is built with hemp stone. Clamp and reinforce the front and back sides of the joint of upper and lower stones with hemp stone strips, and smooth the smashed lower right corner of the monument and other damaged places with cement. Wang Yongshou, a local calligrapher, was asked to copy the original inscription and make up the damaged inscription. The Dali County People's Committee, which was collected by Jacky Cheung, Yang Jun Infrastructure Team, Ximencun District Survey Team and masons Yang Jiaxin, was responsible for this restoration project.

1988, Dali Municipal Bureau of Culture put forward a plan to expand the protection scope of Yuan Shizu Yan Ping Monument from 100 square meters to 800 square meters. Zhao Zhiyuan, director of the Municipal People's Congress, Pu Zhenqing, deputy mayor, Zhao Bo, Yang Shibin, deputy directors of the Municipal Party Committee Office, Sun Xiang, director of the Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce, leaders of urban construction departments and professionals have made many on-site investigations and studies, and determined that the extended protection scope of the historic site is 30 meters from east to west, 20 meters from north to south and * * 600 square meters. After the expansion plan was approved by the Provincial Department of Culture, Dali allocated a special fund of 20,000 yuan to build a protective fence. The project started in June 1988 and was completed in March 1989. The construction unit is Yang Jiji Team of Dali 11th Construction Company. According to the requirements of national cultural relics management, Dali Cultural Relics Protection Management Office set up a sign monument at 1989 and an explanation monument at 1992. 199/kloc-0 raised 6000 yuan per year. After the monument was completed, five temporary care rooms with stone and wood structures were built, and special personnel were hired for daily protection and management. 1992 delimit the construction control zone and protection scope, and draw the plan; 1993 shoot and save the current video data, and establish the "four haves" file.

On June 25th, 20001year, as a cultural relic of Yuan Dynasty, Yuan Shizu Yan Ping Monument was approved by the State Council to be included in the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

In 2002, Dali City Cultural Bureau found that there was no protective pavilion in Yuan Shizu Pingyan Monument. The monument has been exposed to the sun and rain for a long time, and the weathering erosion is becoming more and more serious, which is not conducive to the preservation of the monument and the inscription. 1975 when the monument was rebuilt, the practice of repairing the monument with concrete did not meet the requirements of the principle of cultural relics protection, and the reinforced framework of granite arch coupons concealed the appearance of the original monument; At present, the scope of protection of the monument area is narrow, and tourists can't visit the gallery, which affects the visiting effect. Visitors can directly touch the monument, which is not conducive to the protection of the monument. There are no exhibition halls, function rooms and other tourism facilities in the historic site area. According to the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Cultural Relics, the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Yunnan Province and the Protection Plan of Dali Historical and Cultural City, the Conservation and Maintenance Plan of Historic Sites in Yan Ping, Yuan Shizu was formulated and submitted to the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau and National Cultural Heritage Administration for approval step by step.

According to the principle of cultural relics maintenance and the embodiment of the monument, the plan puts forward specific items and operation methods, such as cleaning and dismantling the original unreasonable concrete repair and strengthening the framework that affects the original appearance of the monument, repairing the monument with marble bluestone with the same texture, restoring the original appearance of the monument, and building a stone pavilion to protect the monument from natural damage such as wind, rain and sun. It is planned to increase the land acquisition area by 3 1.80 square meters, broaden the protection scope, build a gate in the east, an exhibition hall in the west, and an inner corridor function room in the north and south and on both sides of the gate. In the corridor, there will be Buddhist tablets, text introductions or scrolls of historical events in Yunping and Yuan Shizu, and a landscape corridor square will be paved with granite around the exhibition hall to carry out environmental greening and beautification, improve hydropower service facilities and build it into a cultural tourist attraction plan.

In 2003, National Cultural Heritage Administration approved the reported scheme and allocated 700,000 yuan for maintenance. Dali Cultural Relics Protection Management Office is responsible for the implementation and management of the project. From June 5438+ 10 to May 2006, the reinforcement and maintenance of the monument and the construction of the monument pavilion were completed. The construction unit is Dali Guoguang Garden Ancient Construction Company. The central and local governments at all levels and cultural relics departments at all levels attach great importance to the protection and management of the Yuan Shizu Plain Monument, and the next step will be to allocate land and funds, and gradually implement protection and maintenance according to the planning scheme.
