The history of Xianzhi bamboo tip

At the end of the 4th century, Zhang Bao, an Indian monk, called Emei "the first in Sinian" and praised Emei as "the first mountain in Buddhism". The first mountain monument was written by Mi Fei, a calligrapher in the Song Dynasty. Mount Emei is the Dojo of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, the highest of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, and the only one among the four famous Buddhist mountains registered as a "world natural and cultural heritage", which can be described as the first in Foshan, China. Mount Emei is a sacred place, rich in famous tea since ancient times. "Huayang National Records" records: "Nan 'an and Wugang are famous teas in the mountains. "Notes on Selected Works of Zhaoming" also records: "Emei is rich in medicinal materials, especially tea, which is different from the world. "Emei's' Snow Bud' tea has been very famous since the Tang Dynasty. Li Bai sang Emei and asked the monks about "tea Zen blindly": Japan sent monks to the Tang Dynasty to cross the ocean, crossed the famous Buddhist mountains in China, and brought "Emei Xueya" tea back to China, creating the style of Japanese tea ceremony; Su Dongpo's hometown is an official's favorite fairy tea, so there is a good saying: Emei tea developed again in the Ming Dynasty. "Emei County Records Tan" records: "At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang, the Ming Emperor, named the bamboo tip of Xianzhi as the bamboo tip of Xianzhi, and gave it to the tea garden, and planted 10,000 tea trees in Baishui Temple (now Wannian Temple) for the use of the five temples on the mountain. Near the tomb tower of Ming Daizong Shibaotan in Puxing Township, Mount Emei, there is a tablet of "Imperial Tea" given by Emperor Hong. According to the inscription, Emei famous tea "Emei Xueya" (namely "Xianzhi Bamboo Tip") is a tribute tea in the Ming Dynasty. There is also a famous couplet in Wuhou Temple in Chengdu, which was deeply appreciated by Comrade Mao Zedong in modern times: "If you can attack your heart, you will be self-defeating. It has been known since ancient times that soldiers are not good at fighting: they don't judge the situation, temper leniency with severity, and then they have to think deeply. " It was also written for Zhao Fan to talk about Zen with a monk in Emei Mountain in the late Qing Dynasty, worrying about the country and the people. Foshan famous tea has a long aftertaste, and "Xianzhi Bamboo Tip" ("Emei Snow Bud") is really the first divine tea in China.
