I think Zeng Guofan’s status is relatively high. Referring to Qing history, all three of them were bachelors. Zeng Guofan was a bachelor of Wuyingdian, Li Hongzhang was a bachelor of Wenhuadian, and Zuo Zongtang was a bachelor of Dongge. Although they are both bachelors, there are still some differences. According to the official system of the Qing Dynasty, Zeng Guofan's Wuyingdian bachelor had a relatively high status. The official position established during the Qianlong period was set up for Fu Heng. Until Zeng Guofan, no one could do the job. Therefore, Zeng Guofan's status is relatively high. But this does not exclude the contributions of the other two people. They both contributed a lot to the Qing Dynasty.
Let us introduce it. Zeng Guofan, originally named Zicheng, with the courtesy name Bohan and the given name Disheng, was the 70th grandson of the sage Zengzi. A modern Chinese politician, strategist, Neo-Confucianist, writer, calligrapher, and the founder and commander-in-chief of the Hunan Army. Zeng Guofan was born in an ordinary farming and studying family. He was diligent and studious since he was a child, and entered a private school at the age of 6. In the eighteenth year of Daoguang's reign, he became a Jinshi and entered the Hanlin Academy, where he served as a companion to the Minister of Military and Aircraft. He cultivated himself and disciplined himself, sought an official position based on virtue, put etiquette first, and pursued politics with loyalty, and achieved great success in the officialdom. Zeng Guofan set an example and encouraged himself many times to achieve such a status.
Among the three of them, Zuo Zongtang was the first to lead troops. He suppressed the Taiping Rebellion and later recovered Xinjiang. He has made a huge contribution to China's current territory. But the stain in his life was that he did not pass the Jinshi examination, and then Cixi gave him the same title as Jinshi. Only then did he have the Grand Bachelor of Dongge.
In terms of status, Li Hongzhang is second. Li Hongzhang also contributed a lot to China's modern history. He founded the Beiyang Navy. And he was the leader of the Westernization Movement and made many contributions to the Qing Dynasty.
