The time goes back to the Tang Dynasty thousands of years ago. Outside gusu city, the jade rabbit sinks in the west. Spending the night on a boat in Qiao Feng, looking at the fishing fire in the distance, a lonely and sad wanderer sang the eternal farewell song: "Hanshan Temple outside Gusu, the bell rings at midnight to the passenger ship." A quiet night and a few melodious bells have established a certain connection between the solemn Buddhist temple and the sleepless poet, and also reunited Zen and poetry. Generate's business is booming and has continued to this day, making Hanshan Temple full of incense and style.
I admired it for a long time, but I haven't seen it, so I decided to go to Hanshan Temple to see the truth.
After having lunch in a hurry, I got on the 935 bus at Guihua Park Station. Before long, it rained heavily outside the car and hit the window glass. However, fun has nothing to do with the weather, but with my mood. The rain didn't affect my mood, but it ignited my interest.
Get off at Laifengqiao Station, pass Qiao Feng Road, and cross the Sanmen archway of Han Shizhi. I found a pair of couplets written by Mr. Qi Gong on the back of the archway: "Nine days in first frost, full moon in Hanshan, sleeping in a pool ten miles across the pillow. When I listened, it was still in the sound; The boat stopped in the middle of the night, and I came to see the ancient temple of the Six Dynasties. It's still three thousand dust outside. The word "poetry and Zen" suddenly came to mind. This is my most intuitive impression of Hanshan Temple.
Go north along the road, turn right to the main entrance of Hanshan Temple, and see the words "Hanshan Temple" engraved on the yellow wall in front of the temple. Many tourists also take photos here as a souvenir. Go through the ticket gate, enter the Temple of the King, and see Maitreya sitting in the middle. A couplet is engraved on both sides of the Buddha statue: "I am full of joy to welcome the people in the world, and I can tolerate the unbearable things in the world." Behind Maitreya is a statue of Wei Tuo Bodhisattva holding Vajrayana. However, King Kong's position in the hands of Wei Tuo Bodhisattva is very special. If you hold the pestle, it means that the temple is small and you can't hang the account; If you wear it on your wrist, it means that you can receive a traveling monk for a few days or a day. Hanshan Temple is undoubtedly a big temple.
Go straight through the King's Hall and you'll find the Hall of Heroes. There are several couplets hanging in the hall, one of which can best reflect the poetry in Zen. "A thousand-year-old solemn Buddhist temple, Hanshan Temple outside Gusu; The warnings of hundreds of people floated in the middle of the night. " Yan Fu, secular, tidal sound, continuous Buddhist sound. According to Buddhism, there are 108 kinds of troubles in life, that is, the bell is the Buddha's sound. At the sound of the bell, bodhi increases and troubles disappear. So when we arrive at Hanshan Temple, there is no reason not to knock a few bronze bells.
The bell tower is on the right behind the Hall of the Great Hero. You can buy tickets for five yuan. The ticket inspector told me repeatedly that the clock should not be struck more, but only three times, symbolizing Fu Lushou. If you knock four times, everything is empty. I guess the subtext behind this sentence with the heart of a villain. Just knock three times. There are people knocking at the back, so don't always occupy it. However, since I am in a Buddhist temple, I still have to be awed, so I guess, sin, sin. When I arrived at the bell tower, I saw an old bronze clock hanging on it. The bell body is engraved with the words "Ancient Hanshan Temple", and it is surrounded by gossip such as Ganzhi, Duizhi, Lizhi, Zhenzhi, Xunzhi, Kanzhi, Genzhi and Kunyang. If there is no deviation in memory, ringing the bell should be dry. Knock three times, the bell is melodious, and the * * * vibration of the eardrum causes the * * * vibration of the mind, traveling through time and space, as if I had knocked the bell that Zhang Ji heard.
Behind the Hall of Ursa Major is the Hall of Cold Connection, which is dedicated to the statues of Hanshan and Connection, also known as the "Harmonious Two Immortals". Hanshan Temple is also a poet and monk in the Tang Dynasty. If you are not familiar with him, maybe someone has heard of this conversation.
"What should I do if the world slanders me, deceives me, humiliates me, laughs at me, belittles me, despises me, hates me and deceives me?"
"Just bear with him, let him go, let him go, avoid him, be patient with him, respect him, ignore him, and stay for a few years, and you will see him again."
This is a conversation between Hanshan and Pickup, which really makes people wake up and know to what extent they can get along with others. You suddenly realize that all flies are chasing dogs, right and wrong, all floating clouds, only to see five words floating in the sky, which is nothing.
However, some people write that Hanshan has never been to Suzhou since, and has been living in seclusion in Han Yan, near the National Assembly Temple in Tiantai Mountain. Even Hanshan is not a monk at all. If you are interested, you can look at Professor He's Cold Mountain in the Wilderness.
Behind the cold hall is the tower of Zhao Pu College. I didn't leave a deep impression on the stupa except for climbing high and overlooking. However, there are more than 60 poems of Sleeping at Maple Bridge in different fonts, such as letters, grass and seals, embedded in the tablet gallery of Hanshan Temple around the stupa. These writers are all famous at present. I am just a layman who knows nothing about calligraphy, but I have also met many familiar names, such as Wang Jue, Wen Zhiming, Qi Gong and Ji Xianlin.
Among many poems, the one by Yu Yue is the most precious and sought after. This monument is independent of the gate of Hanshan Zhangshi. The monument is133cm high and 86.5cm wide. There are three lines on the tablet, each with a cross, and the content is poetry. There are three lines in the postscript, each line is 18 words, from right to left: "The old text of Hanshan Temple is a long-standing imitation of Tang Zhangji's poem" Sleeping at the Maple Bridge ". In the afternoon of Guangxu, Zhongxin Bridge Zhongcheng built several new trees in the temple to supplement books and carve stones. Yu Yue. "
There is also an anecdote about this poem tablet. During the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the Japanese coveted this monument and wanted to steal it for themselves, and then shipped it back to Japan for permanent preservation. The abbot of the original Hanshan Temple was calm and used his quick wits. He asked the famous Suzhou teacher Qian Rongchu to copy one as it is. The imitation monument is bluestone, beautifully carved, which is confusing enough in the original monument site, while the old monument hides mystery. Therefore, this monument avoided a robbery.
Visiting Hanshan Temple, the afternoon passed unconsciously. Seeing that it was getting late and the temple was about to close, I found a small door. When I looked up, it was a relief door.
