"Gun Xue" symbolizes Cao Cao's imperial domineering and lofty prestige.
"Gun Snow": The word "Gun" means "Gun Yi" and "Gun Mian", which is the emperor's special dress; the word "Snow" symbolizes nobility and purity.
This kind of artistic conception and mentality can only be understood but cannot be expressed in words, so Cao Cao inscribed the word "Gun Xue". He did not forget the word "gun" and wrote the word "gun" instead. Unfortunately, no one understood it at the time. They just thought that Cao Cao inscribed the scenery based on his emotions, ignoring the true intention of his inner world.
The word "Gun Xue" is based on the Chinese calligraphy masterpiece "Thirteen Products of Han and Wei Dynasties", which is the only authentic handwriting of Cao Cao that can be seen. In the 24th year of Jian'an of the Han Dynasty (219 AD), Cao Cao stationed troops in Hanzhong to praise When Taniguchi was planning state affairs, he saw the Bao River rushing down, hitting rocks and flying flowers. He wrote the word "Gun Xue" with his pen. His entourage reminded him: "The word "Gun" is short of water at three points." Cao Cao touched his palm and laughed: "There is no shortage of water in a river." "Water!" became a legend through the ages. It was later carved on a huge stone in the river and spread.

The original stone with the word "Gunxue" was found in the river below the dam of Shimen Reservoir. The huge stone is written by Cao Mengde. The piece beside the Shimen plank road was re-engraved by later generations based on the original word tomb in Hezhong. It was intended to protect this unique book. At the beginning of the construction of Shimen Reservoir, the Hanzhong Museum specially sent stonemasons. The word "Gun Xue" on the huge stone in the river was completely cut out and transported to the Hanzhong Museum for preservation.
