In the 6th-10th National Art Exhibition, the teachers and students of Chinese Painting Department won 3 gold medals, 8 silver medals, 7 bronze medals and 3 excellent prizes/kloc-0. 1995 Chinese painting figure painting course was rated as an excellent course in colleges and universities in Jiangsu province, and Chinese painting course was rated as a first-class excellent course in colleges and universities in Jiangsu province in 2006.
The undergraduate teaching of Chinese painting department now has three professional studios: Chinese painting figures course group, Chinese painting landscape course group and Chinese painting flowers and birds course group.
