Beijing News: The works of 30 famous calligraphers and painters since 1795 (the 60th year of Qianlong's reign), including Li Keran, Lin Fengmian, and Xu Beihong, are not allowed to leave the country. This is a new regulation implemented by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage starting this year. In addition to the fine products and representative works of each period that are not allowed to leave the country in principle, there are as many as 385 famous calligraphers and painters protected by the state.
Among the 30 people whose works are not allowed to leave the country, they include Wang Shikuo, He Xiangning, Li Keran, Lin Fengmian, Xu Beihong, Gao Jianfu, Huang Binhong, Dong Xiwen, Fu Baoshi, Pan Tianshou and other masters. In principle, 32 people are not allowed to leave the country, including familiar Liu Yong, Ren Bonian, Ji Xiaolan, Wu Changshuo, Li Shutong, Liang Qichao, Lin Zexu, etc. This new list was determined by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage after extensively soliciting opinions from the cultural relics and art circles. In addition to the status of calligraphers and painters in art history, it also took into account factors such as domestic stocks.
