From 1973 to 1975, he worked in the countryside in pastoral areas.

From 1975 to 1978, he entered the Art Department of Inner Mongolia Normal University and stayed at the school to teach.

From 1979 to 1981, he studied cello in Jiangsu Symphony Orchestra.

From 1982 to 1989, he taught as a lecturer and professor in the Music Department of Inner Mongolia Normal University.

From 1989 to 1993, he was transferred to the art department of the school to teach (calligraphy, seal cutting).

In 1993, he was transferred to the Fine Arts Department of the Art College of Inner Mongolia University as an associate professor.

Served as the sixth vice president of the Chinese Calligraphers Association.

In December 2015, he served as the seventh vice president of the Chinese Calligraphers Association.

In December 2015, he served as chairman of the eighth presidium of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
