He is currently a member of China Musicians Association, director of Henan Branch of Chinese Music Association, director of Chinese Opera Music Society, vice president and executive deputy secretary general of Henan Opera Music Society, and president of Zhengzhou Opera Music Society.

Master Shu studied from Wu Zifu, Li Feng and Sang Fan. Good at opening letters and adjusting officials. He is a first-class composer, a member of Chinese Music Association, Chinese Dramatists Association and China Poetry Society, a librarian of Henan Literature and History Research Institute, a member of Henan Calligraphy Association and Artists Association, and the president of Zhengzhou Huaxia Academy of Fine Arts.
