Mi Fu's "Shu Su Tie" (Four) (also Tiao Xi Poetry Volume)

? Although the writing is still very poor, here is a brief talk about some experiences during the writing process.

? Mi Fu claims that he writes brush calligraphy. This brush can be seen in his decisiveness in using the pen. On the other hand, it can also be seen in his attainments in running calligraphy. Much better than his regular script. When it comes to regular script, it's very fast. I really can't tell how good his regular script is.

? However, it has to be said that the so-called Shangyi of the Song Dynasty was well reflected among the four Song Dynasty masters Su Huangmicai, Li Jianzhong, Ouyang Xiu, Lu You and others. I remember someone commented on Li Fu and said that he was the ultimate calligrapher. This extreme means that the degree of achievement of Jizi is high. And he came up with new ideas. It's like when we say writing an article, we have to copy a lot of articles through the ages, or like when we collect sentences, we combine sentences from different poems of a certain person into one poem.

? There are indeed various training methods in ancient China, and Mi Fu's is one of the typical ones. Because he is very accomplished in all aspects, it can be seen that its meaning is actually an extreme imitation. Although many people say that he is innovative, in fact, if you think about it, every word and every word has an origin, and even every stroke has an origin. This is a higher and ultimate antique. Some people say that he is an original creation, but in fact it is because he has made outstanding contributions in this area, which is both great and innovative. So let alone the so-called innovation, I think it is a combination of tradition and great achievements (particularly in running script).

? As for the understanding of writing, let me talk about my experience. The first is to concentrate when writing. It must reach a certain amount and be able to last for a period of time, at least I think it is about an hour. Otherwise, Because every time we get into this state it’s not enough. In the words of a senior, if he suddenly stops before entering the state, then if he wants to enter the state next time, he will have to spend some time to adjust to the state. In addition, it will take time to prepare for the four treasures of the study, etc., so It's neither fun nor very effective.

? When the second one comes, try not to read each word and write them one by one. It is best to write them all in one go. At least you should read one radical and write it once. Third, try not to write one stroke with one stroke of ink. This is especially necessary in running script. Pay attention to the connection and connection of the moving qi in the structure of the composition, so the words cannot be cut off like regular script. Also, try not to practice writing single words. When you write to a certain level, you will need to practice writing one word, one vertical line, or even one sentence. Write more at a time, and only in this way can you make great progress.

? During this period of time, I have been writing the Thousand-Character Essays of Lin Zhangcao, Lin Caixiang, Lin Mifu, and Lin Zhiyong, but I feel that I have not deeply entered their inner world. The angle, planning and overall momentum are still far behind.

? The other day I heard a friend comment that my ink was too dry, but the momentum was okay. For the sake of convenience, I just add some water to start the process every time. I remember that Teacher Tian Yingzhang once said that you should add 1/3 of water when writing running script and 1/4 of ink when writing regular script. Of course, this is not absolute. I added it directly on the Sumo, so the effect is relatively poor. I used to grind the ink myself before, and it did feel much better, but now I have basically given up on it. I heard that a better method is to use an ink strip to grind the ink for a while, which has a better effect.

? Of course, good paper can also be used for such complex training during practice. It takes time to grind it slowly, the so-called paper and ink phase. This is my immature attempt, understanding and experience. Okay, thank you for your attention, we will work hard together. .
