1996 Selected Works of Oberda's Calligraphy was selected as the excellent book Sunset Library published by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles for old writers and artists.
He used to be a member of Hebei Federation of Literary and Art Circles, director of Hebei Book Association and chairman of Chengde Book Association, and won the "Hebei Literature Revitalization Award" and the "Lu Gold Award" of Chengde Literature and Art. He was awarded the third-class merit by Hebei Provincial People's Government and Chengde Administrative Office respectively, and was praised as "a banner of Jehol Book Circle". In Chengde, there is a saying that "there are hundreds of thousands of scattered mountains and thousands of iron firewood calligraphy".
In April 2009, he was awarded the title of "The First Hengyang Deyi Shuangxin Literary and Art Worker".
In addition, there are thousands of words of Oberda's official letters, Oberda's Collection of Paintings and Calligraphy of Ou Mingjie, Two-style Books of Han and Wei Dynasties, and Songs of Life (in Gao Zhanxiang).
