Liao Dixin
Liao Dixin is a famous contemporary Chinese calligrapher, writer and poet. Born in 1964 in Xinyu, Jiangxi (Fu Baoshi’s hometown). He graduated from Jianghan University and the Central Party School, and further studied in the journalism training class of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is currently a national first-class artist. Member of the China Democratic National Construction Association, member of the Xinyu CPPCC, life-long art consultant of the China International Artists Association, academician of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, executive director of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, member of the Chinese Folk Literature and Artists Association, member of the Chinese Poetry Society, member of the Chinese Couplet Society, China He is a member of the Hard-tipped Calligraphers Association, a member of the Jiangxi Calligraphers Association, a member of the Jiangxi Couplet Society, a specially appointed calligrapher of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper, and a national-level artist.

The calligraphy style may be majestic and dense, wandering and frustrated; or it may be majestic and majestic from ancient times, with glittering gold reflecting stones; or it may blend the ancient and create new ones, with paintings hidden in the book; the charm contains the charm of nature, and the meaning is inexhaustible. Since Mo Yuan, he has won more than 30 national (international) book competitions and exhibitions (awards), and has been included in many exhibitions and collections with celebrities. In 1993, he published a theoretical article "On the Expression of Calligraphy and Aesthetic Emotions" with Shen Peng in the theoretical special page of "Hard Pen Calligraphy Art Newspaper". In the same year, he won the third prize in the Jiangxi Province Family Literature Essay Competition. In 1994, his name was included in the "Dictionary of World's Outstanding Experts and Talents". Many works of calligraphy and painting have been included in more than 20 collections of national-level published classics such as "Collection of Famous Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters" and "Selection of Authentic Works of Excellent Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy and Painting".
In July 2013, his calligraphy works and personal portraits were issued nationwide by China Post with stamps, phone cards, postcards and a stamp album under the theme of "Building a Beautiful China". On September 6, three works were on display at the China Construction Entrepreneurs Summit Forum in the Great Hall of the People.
During the National "Two Sessions" in 2014, as a specially invited artist, more than 10 of his classic works of different styles were grandly launched and displayed by CCTV, China Daily, China.com, and other top national media, and were well received. It is widely praised and can be called "a masterpiece".
