Because our country has a long civilization of 5,000 years, our country's ancient calligraphy has reached its peak, so "writing a good hand" is the standard of every excellent scholar, so every educated child has to be forced to practice calligraphy. Of course, at that time, I really needed to practice calligraphy, otherwise what should I do to write a love letter? Ask the deskmate who writes beautifully to help me copy a copy? Isn't that disgusting remark seen by others?
Although forced to practice calligraphy, in fact, many students, including me, can't write well. On the one hand, it is difficult to write square characters, on the other hand, it is because our country used to write with a brush. After changing to pencils, ballpoint pens and pens, there is no calligraphy, and students often can't practice hard pen calligraphy.
I remember that the most famous hard-pen calligrapher at that time was Pang Zhonghua, who should be the first one at that time, followed by Li Fangming, Sima Dong and Si Mayan. Anyway, I came from a small place, and all the copybooks I could see at that time belonged to these people. At that time, I had never even seen Zhao Ji's thin golden body.
I didn't like Pang Zhonghua's handwriting at that time, because it was too fake to look good, so I decided to choose Li Fangming's handwriting. After practicing for a year or two, it didn't have much effect, but one of my classmates chose Pang Zhonghua's copybook. His original handwriting was ugly as an old cockroach crawling, but after three months of hard practice, he actually wrote a beautiful pen handwriting, which looks much more comfortable than the handwriting on Pang Zhonghua's copybook!
So I asked him why, and he said-
First of all, the Li Fangming copybooks you practice are all drawn with translucent tissue paper, separated by a layer of gauze. When you draw, it's just a sketch, but the handwriting I practiced in Pang Zhonghua is concave (wā). When I cover them with translucent tissue paper, my pen will be fixed by the concave groove, so when I draw them, it is almost 100% copy.
Second, Pang Zhonghua's handwriting is real hard-pen calligraphy, which is more in line with the characteristics of pen handwriting, so it is smoother to practice.
Third, you used to write very well. Although it is not beautiful, it is at least horizontal and vertical, so your motivation to practice calligraphy is not as great as mine.
Fourth, you are a person who always sticks to yourself. I guess you haven't forgotten your own words when you are practicing. You always want to combine your words with Li Fangming's, so you didn't practice.
That's good, especially the last point. Right in the middle, I really can't forget myself when I practice calligraphy, so I have never been able to practice myself well. After hearing what he said, I decided not to practice calligraphy, but to write as well as possible, so my handwriting is also very general now. But what he told me was really useful. I asked some students who wrote better, and 70% or 80% of them practiced Pang Zhonghua's copybooks. Why don't you try? Try as my classmates say.
