Engels wrote a typical handwriting. They didn't raise Chinese characters to the height of a calligraphy art like China, so calligraphy didn't have as many schools as Wei Bei, regular script and official script in China. On the contrary, the printing forms in Pinyin are rich, after all, it is easy to design various beautiful styles with a small number of letters.
Generally speaking, pinyin has ancient and modern styles, with Engels' manuscript in the middle. There is a similar font called TH Classic in foreign fonts, which is sometimes used in graphic design, but the inclination of Lian Bi is not so great. It is easier for us to identify manuscripts than Engels.
