Liu Yu’s personal events

In the 1970s, a complete copy of the "Emperor's Treasure" seal, one of the 25 seals collected by the Forbidden City, was made. He once held seals for Marshal Chen Yi, General Ye Fei and others.

In 1985, the seal "The 60th Anniversary of the Palace Museum" was engraved and used on the first-day cover issued by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. (October 10, 1985)

In October 1987, he was invited to Hong Kong to participate in the "Ancient Chinese Science and Technology Exhibition" in 1988. His calligraphy and seal cutting works were appreciated and collected by local people.

Since 1990, Liu Yu's works have been published in newspapers and periodicals many times, and have also been published by Chinese celebrities (Lu Jiaxi, Luo Gongliu, Chen Shengshen, Shi Shuqing, Zhu Jiaxin, Liu Bingsen, Liao Jingwen, etc.), compatriots from Hong Kong and Taiwan, and Foreign friends govern the seal.

At the end of 1993, he was awarded the "Certificate of Honor" by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage for "persons who have been engaged in the restoration of cultural relics for 30 years".

In November 1999, he participated in the "Public Servant Style" national calligraphy and painting tour exhibition, and his seal cutting and calligraphy works were exhibited at the National Art Museum of China.

In August 2000, the seal cutting works were included in the book "Collection of Paintings, Calligraphy and Photography in Celebration of Fifty Years of Chinese Cultural Relics" edited by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. (Published by Cultural Relics Publishing House)

In August 2006, the "Celebrity" column of "Beijing Evening News" gave a full-page report.

On June 18, 2009, the "United Daily News" special issue on calligraphy and painting appreciation gave a full-page report on the appreciation of works. On August 31, the 32nd issue of "Sanlian Life Weekly" reported on "Those "unique skills" in the Forbidden City Copy Studio" .

In January 2010, "Cultural Relics World" magazine published a character column report "The Spring and Autumn Period Written with Iron Pens".

Cultural relic restoration expert "Liu Yu" was featured in the "Civilization under Fingertips" series on June 8, 2012 in CCTV's "People" column.

"China Cultural Relics News", "Economic Daily", and "People's Daily" (overseas edition) all had reporters covering the event. "Civil Aviation China", "Collection", "People", "Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Art News" and other newspapers and magazines have also introduced special pages respectively.
