According to Baoji folklore, Emperor Yan was born in Mengyugou Village, Shennong Township, Weibin District. He grew up in Wayu, bathed in Jiulongquan, died in Tiantai Mountain and was buried in Yangshan Mountain. Tiantai Mountain, 20 kilometers south of Changyang Mountain, is said to be the place where Emperor Yan accidentally tasted money grass.
