Monk Zhiyong (date of birth and death is unknown), born in the Southern Dynasties, whose real name is Wang, whose word is Zhiyong, was born in Huiji (now Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province), the seventh grandson of the book sage Wang Xizhi, and the descendant of the fifth son, and was named "Yong Zen Master". Wisdom is always good at writing, and books have their own methods. Wang Xizhi's Preface to Lanting, a family heirloom, was taken to yunmen temple for preservation. There is a book kiosk in yunmen temple (formerly known as Yongxin Temple). Zen master Zhiyong lived in the pavilion for 20 years, leaving legends such as "returning the tomb" and "iron threshold".
Zhiyong had a far-reaching influence on later calligraphy. He preached "Eight Laws of Yong Zi Fa", which set an example for later generations. There are more than 800 volumes of True Grass Thousand Characters, which are widely circulated in Japan and have far-reaching influence.
