Studying at an early age will not make much sense, but in later years it will save trouble. Su Che said.

I knew this sentence when I was in middle school. I didn’t have any special feelings at that time. I only knew that Su Che was Su Shi’s younger brother, and the two brothers had a deep love for each other. "We have been brothers for generations to come, and we have an unfinished relationship with you in the next life." Su Shi's poem to Su Che.

When I re-read some books I read in middle school and college in recent years, my understanding and feelings are completely different. This does not mean that the books you read in your early years are useless, or that you can stop reading them if you don’t understand them well, and save them for later when you can understand them.

Then when will I be able to understand it, and whether I will have time to read it in the future, are all questions. In fact, there is no road in life that is in vain, and there is no book that is read in vain. This is the truth.

Learning without thinking is a waste, thinking without learning is peril. If a person reads a lot of books and thinks deeply, it will be easier for him to become knowledgeable about people and understand the world. "If you don't leave home, you will know the world; if you don't peep, you will see the way of heaven." I have said it long ago, but most people in the world will believe it and laugh at it. Not laughing is not enough to practice the Tao.

It is always good to read more books. This is the real inner feeling when studying these classic texts.

For example, when I read "The Book of Songs·Beifeng·Shiwei" when I was young, I really didn't understand it, I just recited it. But the words "decline" and "Hu Bugui" have always stayed in my mind, and sometimes I still think about it for a while. When I was flipping through other books, I came across it by chance, and I couldn't help but secretly rejoice, Hey, it looks familiar, I've seen this before.

That’s how I encountered "The Decline". I was very busy at that time, working overtime for several months in a row, and was exhausted mentally and physically. One time when I was taking salt water for a cold and high fever, I brought a collection of Wang Wei's poems to pass the time and read his "Weichuan Tianjia":

Appreciation The text explains "Shi Wei" in this way: It is the title of a chapter in "The Book of Songs", which contains the sentence "Shi Wei, Shi Wei, Hu Bugui".

As the setting sun shines, the cattle and sheep slowly return to the village and disappear into the deep alleys. The kind old man is leaning on a cane, waiting for the child who returns from grazing. Pheasants crow happily in the wheat fields, there are few mulberry leaves in the mulberry forest, and silkworms begin to spin silk and make cocoons. In the fields, farmers returned from going to the fields with hoes on their backs, chatting cordially to each other when they met. In this situation, how could one not envy the tranquility of their seclusion, and couldn't help but chant the poem "The Decline" in sadness.

The background of this poem is that in 737 AD, after Prime Minister Zhang Jiuling was squeezed out of the court, Wang Wei lost his political support and was in a dilemma. Tired of the fearful official life, he came to the fields and witnessed something. In this picture of the Tian family returning home late at dusk, I see that everyone has returned home, but I have nowhere to go. I can't help but feel envious and melancholy, sighing, "We are declining, we are declining, why won't we return?"

But, Wang Wei The "decline" in "The Decline of Death" and the "decline in decline" in "The Book of Songs" always feel different in emotion and conception.

Wang Wei has a light and gentle nature. What he saw was a warm pastoral scene under the setting sun, exuding the scent of human fireworks. He sighed at his uncontrollable sadness and asked himself when he would return, Hu. Not coming back?

The word "decline" in "The Book of Songs" describes the human sufferings caused by endless toil and exhaustion at dusk. It's getting late, I'm still on the road, I can't go back, why don't I go back?

3.

This is the literal translation of "Shi Wei".

Hu Bugui? The reason is that "because of Wei Jun, Hu is exposed in the middle"; "because of Wei Jun's bow, Hu is exposed in the mud".

It means that for the sake of those kings and officials, they have to get up early and work late at night, running around in the dew and mud day and night.

In just two chapters, there are only a few sentences, and the chant is repeated: "In decline, in decline, will Hu not return?" The whole poem has a short rhythm and an urgent mood. One question and one answer make it read smoothly and make people think deeply. , the so-called not complaining but complaining deeply. Yu Guanying said in "The Book of Songs", "This is the complaint of people who are suffering from hard labor."

Living with daily necessities, hard work, and humble life, it is not easy to live longer. After a hard day's work, it's good to come home covered in mud and water, tired and tired.

Fang Yurun, a native of the Qing Dynasty, commented on this poem in the "Original Book of Songs": "The language is simple and the meaning is profound, and there are infinite meanings hidden in it. It is not allowed for careless people to read it recklessly."

Yes, the beauty and power of words will travel through time and space.

The word "decline" has gradually become the image of "returning to seclusion" in Chinese classical poetry, such as "I am envious of leisure and leisure, and regretfully chant about my decline" by Wang Wei of the Tang Dynasty; "Shi Wei Yin"; the hermit monk Guan Xiu of the Tang Dynasty wrote "The east wind comes and sings the song of Wei, Shen Yun Taoist calls to return"; Song Chao said that he wrote a poem with the title of "Shi Wei", one of which is: "One song of Shi Weichang nine Even if it is trivial, I will go home together."

It can also be seen that the "Book of Songs" has a profound influence on later literary creation.

"In decline" and "in decline" have also become fixed words and are still used today. The meaning of "decline" originally refers to the decline of a country or a family, but now it also generally refers to the transition from prosperity to decline.

Mao Dun said in "A Woman": "Whoever has fallen from abundance to poverty, from nobility to decline, probably has a more profound feeling about the harshness of the world."

As for Fang Yurunyun's sentence: "The words are shallow and the meaning is deep, but there is infinite meaning hidden in it,..." The meaning is profound and the meaning is just that, what else is there? I have been thinking about it for a long time but could not figure it out.

One day I was flipping through "Collected Works of Tao Yuanming" and read "Come Back and Come Back", which made me suddenly enlightened, as if a word awakened a person from a dream.

I like to read Tao Yuanming’s poems, and there are imprints of the Book of Songs between the lines. Come back, why don't you come back?

Reminiscing about the era of Three Hundred Poems, the natural conditions were harsh and the real life was miserable and hard. People relied on God for food. All living beings were like ants, running around and toiling all day long, "for the sake of the king", and the greatest luxury was to return home. Home is safe.

With the advancement of civilization and the change of dynasties, you can no longer be enslaved by the "king" in this world, "don't bend your back for five buckets of rice", and live in seclusion in a free and easy way. However, "the heart is still a servant of the body" and cannot return. This time it is "because of the small heart".

Tao Yuanming resigned from his official position and returned to seclusion. What he resigned was his official position, but what he hid was his heart. He handed over his heart to nature, leaving life and death up to it. He sighed with emotion: How long does it take to live in the shape of the universe, and he never commits his heart to any task? Stay or go.

How long can this physical body live between heaven and earth? Why not follow your own mind to go or stay? Tao Yuanming has seen through life, death, wealth and wealth in this world. His retreat is a true retreat. He is happy and knows his fate. What more can he ask for?

Looking back at modern society with highly developed material civilization, people in cities are busy and noisy, and the great abundance of materials does not bring rich nourishment to people's souls.

The heart is like a hole filled with desires and a thick soil that is hard to fill.

It’s dark, it’s dark, we’re socializing, we’re tired of traveling, we can’t go home. The heart is a slave to the body, melancholy and sad!

After the world is noisy, the sea of ????people is vast, and the body and mind are exhausted, people like to sing Nan Shan Nan, people like to say that I was slow in the past, and people like to chant, please walk slower and wait for the soul behind you.

Life is like a ship, this body is just a temporary residence for the soul, why bother to camp all day long.

Life is short and fleeting, like a fleeting moment, and you will die for a long time. It is better to take good care of this heart in this world.

"You are not far off when you are lost. I feel that what you are today is not what you were yesterday."

It is better to come back early and live well.
