Rongcheng City is located at the easternmost tip of Shandong Peninsula, between east longitude 122 08'- 122 42' and north latitude 36 45'-37 27'. It is bordered by the Yellow Sea on three sides, with a coastline of 49 1.9 km. South Korea faces east across the sea, and China is the closest area to South Korea. The total land area of the city 1526 square kilometers.
South Korea is located in the south half of the Korean peninsula in the northeast of the Asian continent. East, south and west are surrounded by the sea. The mountainous area accounts for about two-thirds of the area of the Korean peninsula, with diverse topography, low hills and plains interlaced. The low mountains and hills are mainly distributed in the central and eastern parts, and the altitude is mostly below 500 meters.
Rongcheng transportation
Rongcheng has many national and provincial highways extending in all directions and convenient transportation. This is also the end of the Qingyan Roewe Intercity Railway under construction, when the traffic will be more convenient. Rongcheng has two first-class open ports, Shidao Port and Longyan Port, with passenger and cargo liners to Pyeongtaek and Incheon in South Korea, and full container liner routes to Osaka, Hakata, Mensi, Kanto, Kansai, Busan, Singapore and Hong Kong in Japan.
Rongcheng has a well-developed land transportation network. It takes about 15 minutes to reach Weihai Dashuipo International Airport, and it can fly to Incheon, South Korea, some provincial capitals and coastal open cities.
