China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association is a national hard pen calligraphy association established by Pang Zhonghua and Liu Jinbiao, approved by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs 1993.

China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association consists of hard pen calligraphy groups, hard pen calligraphers, hard pen calligraphy theory, researchers and educators from all over the country.

However, in 20 17, the Ministry of Culture issued a notice that it would no longer serve as its director.

So now it should be a non-governmental organization, assisted by artists who love calligraphy.
