Explain a Tang poem

This is not a poem, but two sentences left by Li Yuan recorded in The Whole Tang Poetry.

In fact, the meanings of these two poems are relatively simple and easy to understand, but the artistic conception of forgetting worries makes people living in the noisy world yearn for it. "Three glasses of wine and a game of chess."

General idea: all the twists and turns of the world seem to be realized in the taste of wine. A person's life is like a chess game, unpredictable and full of possibilities.

"Castle Peak never tires of three glasses of wine, but only loses a game of chess in the sky."

(Castle Peak-a secluded place is often referred to in ancient poetry, which is a metaphor for an uncompetitive attitude towards life. )

Never tired-shows that the author yearns for such a life.

Find a quiet place to drink, and the next game will be over.

He said, how can such a person who only knows how to drink and play chess all day run a good place? Fortunately, the Prime Minister stood up and said that a person's ruling ability cannot be judged by a poem. Besides, these two poems may be Li Yuan's suggestion that he is incompetent. Later, Li Yuan said:
