Introduction to Lu Jinzhu

Lu Jinzhu was admitted to the Chinese Painting Department of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now China Academy of Art) in 1985, majoring in calligraphy. After graduation in 1989, he was assigned to work at Xiling Seal Society. In 1996, he participated in the preparation of the "Chinese Printmaking Museum". After the museum opened in 1999, he served as the director of the exhibition research department of the museum until 2003. In September 2003, he was transferred to the School of Continuing Education of the China Academy of Art to teach calligraphy and seal cutting. In addition to the creation of calligraphy and seal cutting in his spare time, he is mainly engaged in the research of ancient seals. He is employed by the Art Institute of the School of Humanities of Zhejiang University to guide graduate students in their research on the history of ancient seals.
