Introduction to Xiong Jiquan

Xiong Jiquan (1945-) was born in Shaodong County, Hunan Province. He once worked as a worker in the Shijiazhuang Tractor Parts Factory, and was later transferred to the factory trade union as an art cadre. In 1984, he was transferred to the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles to take charge of the calligraphy association. In 1980, he graduated from the calligraphy major of Beijing Normal University, where he was taught by Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi. First-class artist. He is currently a professor at the Calligraphy Training Center of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of the Hebei Calligraphers Association and director of the Creative Committee and Education Committee, honorary president of the Chang Yuzhao Calligraphy Association, vice chairman of the Shijiazhuang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and chairman of the Shijiazhuang Calligraphers Association. An outstanding figure of Zhang Yuzhao School of Calligraphy and a famous calligrapher.
