1. Guiding ideology
Guided by the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we closely focus on the overall situation of the city's work and adhere to the principles of "increasing knowledge, cultivating sentiments, maintaining health and longevity, and regenerating residual heat". The school purpose of "Hui"; the teaching purpose of "combining health and well-being with enterprising and promising"; the teaching principle of "teaching according to needs and entertaining"; the teaching method of "flexible and diverse, interactive and colorful"; constantly improving teaching level and school quality.
2. Main points of work
(1) Increase efforts in the construction of campus culture
1. Carry out exhibitions of teaching achievement books, paintings, and photography works and theatrical performances.
2. Strengthen the construction of campus system and culture, update the publicity content of the bulletin board in a timely manner, promote the good people and good deeds in the class and students, and use the foyer and corridors to display students' calligraphy, painting, and photography works.
(2) Promote teaching and teaching management
1. Formulate the teaching syllabus of Shigu Township University for the Aged.
2. Improve the curriculum, compile self-made teaching materials, write lesson plans, and enrich teaching content according to the hometown.
3. Start compiling teaching materials for local courses.
4. Carry out democratic evaluation of teachers, trial open class teaching activities, and establish a backup teacher database.
(3) Carry out in-depth teaching and research work
1. Carry out topic research for the classroom and form theoretical results on key topics.
2. Convene a half-year seminar on promoting education for the elderly and a year-end summary meeting.
