In the Tang Dynasty, Changzhou County was established, which belonged to Changzhou County. In the Song Dynasty, the jurisdiction of Lu Zhi Town now belonged to Yi Township, Wugong Township and Tai Su Township.
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Yi people's township, Wugong township and Tai Su township. In AD 1607, that is, in the fifteenth year of Wanli, a patrol inspection department was set up in the southwest of Liuzhi Fuchang Bridge. In the Qing Dynasty, Yuanhe County was established here in A.D. 1724, and the current jurisdiction of Lu Zhi Town belonged to Yuanhe County at that time.
