Yan Weizao, my father, a famous peasant artist, was born in 1939. He has been a climber for ten thousand years. He has been engaged in folk art activities such as New Year pictures, temple fair pictures and local genre paintings in the southwest countryside for a long time, and is deeply loved by southwest farmers. I grew up under the influence of my father's art. I worship the mountains and rivers in the southwest and even the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. I traveled with my father in the valley, and I began to write among the magical and beautiful mountains and rivers in the southwest at an early age.

As a college teacher and an oil painting enthusiast, I will not give up academic research.
