Years go by and relationships are beautiful. Here are a few prose articles written by famous writers. Let’s enjoy them together!
Remembering a speech by Mr. Liang Rengong 1
p>
This article is selected from "Selected Prose of Liang Shiqiu"
Mr. Liang Rengong did not talk about politics in his later years and concentrated on academics.
Around the 10th year of the Republic of China, Tsinghua University invited him to give his first lecture, titled "Emotions Expressed in Chinese Rhymes."
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to hear this moving speech.
The young students at that time had infinite admiration for Mr. Liang Rengong, not because he was the protagonist of the 1898 Coup, nor because he was the planner of the Yunnan Uprising, but because of his academic articles. It does have an inspiring and leadership role for young people.
In the past, many dignitaries and powerful figures came to the school to give speeches.
But they failed to impress.
This speech by Mr. Ren Gong was later collected in "The Collected Works of Drinking Ice Room".
His speech was written in advance and neatly written on a large rice paper. His calligraphy was very beautiful, written with thick ink on the rice paper, which was very beautiful.
However, reading his article and listening to his speech are very different in interest, just like reading a script and watching a play are completely different.
I remember clearly that on a sunny afternoon, the cathedral upstairs in the Higher Education Department was filled with audience members. Then a short, lean man with a bald head and a wide chin walked in, wearing loose clothes. Wearing long robes, walking steadily, looking gracefully, looking around, shining brightly, this is Mr. Liang Rengong.
He walked up to the podium, opened his speech, glanced downwards, and then gave his very brief opening statement. There were only two sentences in the first sentence. The first sentence was: "Qichao has no knowledge. --," he rolled his eyes upward and nodded slightly: "But there is a little bit of it!" It is rare to hear such humble and conceited words at the same time.
His Cantonese Mandarin is quite standard and far from Mandarin, but his voice is calm and powerful, and sometimes loud and exciting, so we can still understand every word he says. We even thought that if he spoke standard Mandarin, the effect might be worse.
I remember that he started with an ancient poem, quoted by the konghou:
The public did not cross the river,
The public actually crossed the river!
Crossed the river and Death;
What a shame!
These four sentences and sixteen words, after he recited them aloud and then explained them, painted a living tragedy, in which there are ups and downs. There is a plot, a background, characters, and emotions.
About twenty years after I listened to this lecture, I had the opportunity to wait for a boat to cross the river at Maojin Ferry.
But seeing the yellow sand filling the air, the yellow water rolling in, and the vast scene, I couldn’t help but feel sad, and I immediately recalled this ancient poem that my husband told me.
Mr. He is well-read and has a strong memory. In addition to his written speeches, he quotes many works at any time, and he can recite most of them.
Sometimes, when he was reciting to a high pitch, he suddenly couldn't remember the rest of the poem, so he tapped his bald head with his fingers. After a few taps, his memory became smooth again, and he continued to recite without hesitation.
When he knocks his head, we wait with bated breath. When he remembers, we also rejoice with him.
Mr.’s speech becomes a performance when it gets tense.
He really danced with his hands and feet, sometimes hiding his face, sometimes stamping his feet, sometimes laughing wildly, sometimes sighing.
Hearing him talk about his favorite "Peach Blossom Fan" and the part about "Emperor Gao, in Jiutian, no matter...", he felt so sad that he burst into tears and couldn't control himself.
He took out his handkerchief to wipe away his tears. I don’t know how many people in the audience were weeping! He also heard him talk about Du Shi’s story, “Suddenly there was a message from outside the sword to collect Jibei. When I first heard it, my clothes were filled with tears... ..." Mr. Yu Tisi really burst out laughing again during the exchange.
This speech was delivered in three parts. After each speech, Mr. Chen was sweating profusely and looked very happy.
For those who listened to this lecture, in addition to being moved at the time, many of them developed a strong interest in Chinese literature.
Mr. Wang always said that "his writing is always filled with emotions". In fact, the emotions he brings in his speeches are many times stronger!
He is knowledgeable, literary and talented. How many enthusiastic scholars are there in this world? So I remembered an experience from the past and wrote down it.
Commemorating Liu Hezhen 2
On March 25, the 15th year of the Republic of China, the National Beijing Women’s Normal University paid tribute to Liu Hezhen who was murdered in front of Duan Qirui’s government on the 18th. On the day of the memorial service for Yang Dequn and Yang Dequn, I was wandering alone outside the auditorium when I met Mr. Cheng, who came to ask me, "Have you ever written anything for Liu Hezhen?" I said "no."
She warned me, "Sir, you should just write a little; Liu Hezhen loved to read your articles when he was alive."
This is what I know. All the journals I edit, Probably because it often has a beginning but no end, sales have always been very low. However, in such a difficult life, she was the one who decided to book "The Wilderness" for the whole year.
I have long felt the need to write something. Although this has nothing to do with the dead, it is probably the only thing for the living.
If I can believe that there is really a so-called "spirit in heaven", then I can naturally get greater comfort - but now, that's all I can do.
But I really have nothing to say.
I just feel that what I live in is not the human world.
The blood of more than 40 young people flooded all around me, making it difficult for me to breathe, see, hear, and see. What else could I say? Singing and crying must be done after the pain has settled.
The insidious arguments of several so-called scholars and literati afterwards made me feel particularly sad.
I am beyond angry.
I will deeply appreciate the deep and dark sadness of this non-human world; I will show my greatest sorrow to the non-human world, make them happy with my pain, and offer this as a meager sacrifice to the deceased. in front of the soul of the deceased.
II
A true warrior dares to face the bleak life and the dripping blood.
What kind of mourners and happy ones are these? However, nature often designs for mediocre people, using the flow of time to wash away the old traces, leaving only the pale red blood and the slight sadness. .
In this light red blood color and slight sadness, people can survive for a while, maintaining this world that seems human but not human.
I don’t know when this world will come to an end!
We are still living in this world; I have long felt the need to write something.
It has been two weeks since March 18th, and the savior of forgetfulness is about to arrive, so I feel the need to write something.
Three
Among the more than 40 young people who were murdered, Mr. Liu Hezhen was my student.
Student Yun, I have always thought and said this, but now I feel a little hesitant. I should dedicate my sorrow and respect to her.
She is not a student of "I am still alive today", but a Chinese youth who died for China.
The first time I saw her name was when Ms. Yang Yinyu became the president of the Women’s Normal University at the beginning of last summer and expelled six staff members of the student government association in the school.
One of them is her; but I don’t know her.
It wasn’t until later, perhaps after Liu Baizhao led the male and female military generals to forcibly drag him out of the school, that someone pointed at a student and told me: This is Liu Hezhen.
At that time I was able to combine the name with the entity, but I was secretly surprised.
I always thought that a student who could not succumb to snobbishness and resist a powerful principal should always be a bit bold and sharp, but she always smiled and had a very gentle attitude.
After she settled down in Zongmao Hutong and rented a house to teach, she began to come to listen to my lectures, so we met more often, and she still always smiled and had a very gentle attitude.
When the school returned to its old outlook and the former teaching staff felt that their responsibilities had been fulfilled and were preparing to retire one after another, I saw her thinking about the future of her alma mater and she burst into tears.
It seems that we have not seen each other since then.
In short, in my memory, that time was like farewell forever.
, and Liu Hezhenjun was among the victims.
But I am quite skeptical about these legends.
I have always been willing to project the worst possible ill will on the Chinese people, but I did not expect or believe that they could be so vicious and cruel.
Besides, the kind-hearted Liu Hezhen who was always smiling, why would she shed blood in front of the house for no reason?
However, it was proved to be true today, and the witness was her own corpse. .
There is another one, belonging to Mr. Yang Dequn.
And it proves that this is not only killing, but also cruel killing, because there are scars of sticks on the body.
But the Duan government issued an order calling them "thugs"!
But then there were rumors that they were being taken advantage of.
I can’t bear to look at the tragic scene; I can’t bear to hear the rumors.
What else can I say? I understand the reason why declining nations remain silent.
Silence, silence! If you don’t break out in silence, you will perish in silence.
五
However, I still have something to say.
I did not see it in person; I heard that she, Liu Hezhenjun, went there happily at that time.
Of course, it is just a petition. No one with a little bit of support would have expected such a trap.
But he was shot in front of the government. It entered from the back and penetrated his heart and lungs diagonally. It was a fatal wound, but he died immediately.
Zhang Jingshu, who went with her, tried to help her up, but was hit by four bullets, one of which was from a gun. , pierce the chest and come out to the right, also stand up.
But she could still sit up, but a soldier hit her with two sticks on the head and chest, and she died.
Mr. Liu Hezhen, who always smiled and was kind, is indeed dead. This is true, and there is her own body as proof; the brave and friendly Mr. Yang Dequn also died, and there is her own body. As evidence; only Zhang Jingshujun, who is equally brave and friendly, is still moaning in the hospital.
When the three women were calmly rolled around by the bullets invented by civilized people, what a thrilling and great thing it was! The great achievements of the Chinese soldiers in slaughtering women and infants, the achievements of the Eight-Power Allied Forces Unfortunately, all the martial arts that punished the students were wiped out by these few traces of blood.
However, the murderers at home and abroad actually raised their heads, unaware that all of them had blood on their faces...
Six
Time is always passing, and the streets remain the same. Peace, a limited number of lives, is nothing in China. At most, it can only be used by innocent people to talk about after dinner, or it can be used as the seeds of "gossip" for malicious people.
As for other deep meanings, I always feel that they are very few, because this is really just a petition with bare hands.
The history of mankind's bloody battles is like the formation of coal. At that time, a large amount of wood was used, but the result was only a small piece, but petitions are not among them, let alone with bare hands.
However, since there are bloodstains, of course they will expand.
At least, it should be impregnated with the hearts of relatives, teachers, friends, and lovers. Even if time goes by and is washed into crimson, the old shadow of smiling kindness will always remain in the slight sadness.
Tao Qian once said, "Relatives may still be sad, but others have also sung their songs. What is the way to die? The body is supported by the same mountain." If this can be done, this is enough.
VII
I have already said: I have never been afraid to speculate on the Chinese people with the worst possible malice.
But this time there were a few things that surprised me.
Firstly, the authorities can be so cruel, secondly, the gossips can be so bad, and thirdly, Chinese women can be so calm in the face of difficulties.
I have witnessed Chinese women doing things since last year. Although they are in the minority, I have been amazed many times by their capable, determined and indomitable spirit.
As for the fact that they rescued each other in the rain of bullets this time, even though they died without mercy, it is even more evident that the courage of Chinese women has not died out despite being suppressed by conspiracies and secret schemes for thousands of years. Proven.
If you want to seek the meaning of the casualties this time for the future, this is the meaning.
Those who survive will vaguely see a faint hope in the light red blood; the true warriors will move forward with greater courage.
Wow, I am speechless, but I will remember Liu Hezhen Jun!
Upward Tomorrow 3
A gray winter day, only a few months The older girl was left at the door of the orphanage.
She didn’t understand anything, her little face was blown red by the biting north wind, and she watched helplessly as the most beloved person in her life left her.
Is it just because she has polio? The answer is yes, but she doesn’t understand anything.
In a hot and humid rainforest in Africa, a small sapling poked its head out of the soil.
Maybe it picked the wrong place of birth.
The trees here are so dense that they are likely to die in Africa's months-long rainy season before they mature.
But it didn’t care about anything and stubbornly broke out of the ground.
The girl grew up slowly in the orphanage. She has a face as beautiful as an angel.
But her legs have no strength to maintain walking due to the disease, and her spine also has severe scoliosis.
She seems so out of place among girls of the same age.
