brief introduction
Silk book, color, size: 49.8×329.4cm
This volume depicts the summer scenery in the south of the Yangtze River, with overlapping mountains and endless stretches. There is an inscription by Dong Qichang at the beginning, followed by Yuan Kejiu, Yu Ji and Hu Ya. Collected in the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Palace. Zhong has the seal of Zhu Wen of Shao and Xing, and entered the Yuan Dynasty, Zhong has the seal of Zhu Wen of Li Bao. After the classics in the Ming Dynasty, they were collected by Geng, Suotu and Neifu in the Qing Dynasty, and all of them had identification marks.
This painting depicts the scenery in the south of the Yangtze River. There are abundant herbs, beautiful and moist rivers and gloomy clouds, which are fully displayed in Dong Yuan's stippling and rubbings. When commenting on his paintings, Song people thought that "Wang Wei is an ink painting, and his color is like".
The author chooses the scene of Jiangnan Ferry, where the river meanders through and is hidden in the mountains. Make the yamagata structure change endlessly and wash away the disadvantages of yamagata conceptualization. The size and texture of this picture seem to be related to Xiaoxiang map. Some overseas scholars think that two pictures are one picture, which are two paragraphs in Dong Yuan's "Hebo Marries a Woman".
Dong Yuan (AD? Shu Da (962) was born in Zhong Ling, south of the Yangtze River. He was the assistant minister of Beiyuan in the late Tang Dynasty, so he was called Dong Beiyuan. His painting style has a great influence on Yuanmingshan's landscape painting, and he is regarded as one of the founders of China's landscape painting. The composition of this picture is far-reaching, and it is "full of mountains and rivers" in plain and simple reality.
