Zheng henian
The thin gold body after the political reform can basically be regarded as a kind of "body", which has got rid of the youth and the demanding between points and strokes. During this period, the font was the most free and easy, and the characteristics of horizontal strokes with dots and vertical strokes with hooks gradually faded away. Instead, the last stroke is extended and the strokes are gradually closed, which is not intended to create aesthetic feeling, but to become more beautiful, concise, convergent and return to the original. At the same time, it is more elegant, with long strokes, stretched strokes, compact structure, peace and harmony. Typical works include: The Picture of Ruihe, The Picture of Xianglong, The Picture of Five-color Parrot, The Biography of Poetry in Huilong Zhang Yun. The first three works were written in Zheng He's early years, and their styles are very close, without exception, they are free and easy. Among them, Zheng He's seven-year poem tablet with the title of Zhang Hui Long Yun Biography is relatively late, with a strict Taoist flavor and unique style.
There is also a collection of peony poems, which is beautiful all the way, but natural in density, showing Evonne's attempt to push the thin gold to maturity. The font of this collection of poems is spacious, gorgeous, subtle, horizontal and curved, trying to break through, but Evonne soon found that this road was impassable.
Xuanhe period
By the time of Xuanhe, Song Huizong's artistic accomplishment had reached a high level, and there were countless cultural relics collected in past dynasties. Therefore, Hui Zong began to order people to compile and publish books such as Xuan He Shu Pu, Xuan He Hua Pu, Xuan He Ruilan Atlas and Xuan He Bo Gu Tu, which made great contributions to the preservation and arrangement of cultural relics. He also vigorously developed his artistic career, founded Xuanhe Painting Academy, concentrated a large number of painting and calligraphy talents, and systematically studied Chinese painting, thus raising the status of painters to an unprecedented height. This period is the first cultural peak and climax in the history of China, and Hui Zong's aesthetic requirements are getting higher and higher. Later, he ordered people to collect exotic flowers and stones all over the country, gathered skilled craftsmen from all over China, and built a large-scale royal garden "Genyue" outside Kaifeng, which was designed and arranged according to his fairyland blueprint. I'm afraid only Yuanmingyuan can match it in history. Unfortunately, it was completely destroyed in a few years. Unfortunately, this project has brought endless pain to the people. At the same time, he indulged in nothingness and advocated Taoism. In the later period of his reign, the nomads from the north continued to attack, but Hui Zong handed over the state affairs to Cai Jing, Wang Fu, Gao Qiu, Zhu Cuo, Tong Guan, Emperor Wen of Sui, Liang Shicheng, Li Yan and other treacherous court officials (it should be noted that although they are treacherous court officials, many of them are artists), regardless of state affairs, and devoted all their energy to his artistic world.
This period is a masterpiece of Hui Zong's calligraphy and painting art, with many works. Regular script includes A Square Poem, cursive script includes Swallow Fan Pasturing Water and Thousand-character Volume. As a master of Zhao Shu, Wan Fang's The Book of Songs is completely out of the limitation of brushwork, bold and heroic, with strong brushwork, perfect structure and high spirits. At the same time, I added my own understanding of flower-and-bird painting, which is picturesque, silent is better than sound, completely reaching the superb realm of free will and the artistic conception is far away. If the early works lost their form and lacked artistic conception, then by this time, it can be said that the thin gold style is no longer a simple artistic word for painting flowers and birds, but a work of art that can fully reflect Zhao's cultivation and achievements. Absolutely not inferior to Wang Ti and Yan Ti, and the thin gold body is different from the normal body, so it is difficult to write, so it is not known and confused by the secular. I think it's just the word art, the word craftsman. In fact, the structural arrangement of Bojin is very reasonable. There are almost no "poorly written" words, but if future generations are ugly and lose their connotation, they will easily become vulgar. Unfortunately, Evonne only lived to be 56 years old. If he can live to the age of Yan Zhenqing, I don't know how many surprises he will give us!
His cursive script also made great achievements, and the early cursive script did not exist. What we can see now are all the works in the last years of Xuanhe, including thousands of words, Fan Ling, fragrant snow fans, crimson pavilion posts and so on. Zhao Caoshu is different from Huai Su, and it is a combination of fine gold regular script, with unique structure and unrestrained, which is indistinguishable from Huai Su. Some people say that his cursive achievements are far from the same.
Thousand-character cursive script 1 1 meter long. Later generations commented that this volume is "like a bird out of the forest, like a snake in the grass" and "like an ape flying around a tree, like a flower flying around", which is not credible. The layout of "Flying Water and Yanling Fan" is very clever, with high and low levels, echoing every word, elegant and moderate, which embodies the typical literati's elegant taste.
Song Huizong's calligraphy and painting works that have been handed down to this day are mixed with authenticity, and some of them are written by mistake. Experts and scholars have different opinions about the authenticity of some works. This time, the Ink and Wash Community published flowers and birds, landscape paintings and thin gold calligraphy handed down from Song Huizong, which provided a high-quality picture database for further appreciation and study of Song Huizong's calligraphy and painting. In particular, although the authenticity of several Japanese Hui Zong works published this time needs further study, such as Two Scenes in Autumn and Winter, Duck Map and Cat Map, etc. It has been secretly preserved by the old Japanese royal family and shogun for hundreds of years, and its influence on Japanese painting and calligraphy collection and painting creation can not be ignored.
Song Huizong's precious book of thousands of words is a famous cultural relic of Shanghai Museum. For many years, high-definition video materials have not been published in China. Recently, Jilin Literature and History Publishing House published a large format color printing book. The author explains this way: This copy is copied according to the craft copy of Shanghai Museum Art Company, not the original picture, which can be seen from the collection marks of all parties, especially Song Huizong's "Imperial Book" seal, which is completely mimeographed and has a poor quality. In addition, during plate making, the characters were severely deformed, the characters on it were squashed, and the words "To Tong Guan" at the end of the volume were modified, so that the originally clumsy characters looked like Hui Zong's real pen. Then, the publishing house did not explain this, but took the original color map as an annotation, which was harmful and generous. Many calligraphy forums have published scanned images of this print, and many readers who don't know the reason think that this volume is a fake, which has brought great bad influence, and the irresponsible behavior and attitude of the publishing house are also disappointing.
In view of this, in combination with this special exhibition, the ink and wash community specially released the full-color high-definition photocopy of the best original works of Erxuan Society for the benefit of the majority of calligraphy lovers.
